Gerald Wallace goes for 27/12 in a loss to Cleveland. I hope NJ fans don't expect to see that every night from the quitter, but Wallace is playing for a contract at this point on a crappy team, so maybe he'll be inspired to put up stats again.

He's a great stat guy for crappy teams.

Didn't he miss a lay-up that would have tied the game at the end as well?

Arguing about the Timberwolves is hilarious.

Especially when you're SlyPokerDog, and you didn't know what the fuck you were posting about, while calling out someone else for not having a clue.

Diaw bought out. Sheridan says he could be going to SAS.

What a freaking steal. He will help them in the playoffs.

Jefferson -> Jackson and picking up Diaw for nothing would be a nice mid-season boost for them. Still old as fugg and lacking athleticism but they've got a high quality 8-9 man rotation.

Has it been discussed that Derek Fisher has just joined the Thunder?

Interesting. I'm sure he looks at this as a chance to get another ring, but I'm not sure how much he will help them on the court. Westbrook won't even pass the ball to Durant in the 4th quarter of close games. I doubt he'll ever pass to Fisher.

Has anyone else noticed what Isaiah Thomas has been doing for Sacramento?

He, like Faried, is another prospect I had on my final draft-board with our second round pick.

With his play, especially lately, lottery pick Jimmer Fredette gets Babbitt-esque PT.

17PER for the season.

It was evident to me when he was at UW that he'd be a decent player. I think he could actually be a star. He has everything and extreme confidence. I'm surprised that he fell so far in the draft.

Cavs up 3. 5 seconds left. Elect not to foul. Joe Johnson shoots a three at the buzzer and forces OT.

Why don't more teams foul in situations like this? It's a freaking no brainer.

Foul to give, sometimes. If the guy manages to turn it into act of shooting, it's 3FTs. If he makes the shot and1, you lose.

Adelman is awesome. Down 20 to SAS after 3, finally starts Derrick Williams because Pevolic is out, but moves Kevin Love to center against the Spurs.

Genius!

Does Wesley Johnson have drunk nude photos of the Adelman family that's he's going to release if he doesn't start?

Oh, and Kevin Love and JJ Barrea are fighting in the locker room. You'd think a great veteran coach would be able to stop these things. ;)

If you have the chance, tune into DEN vs DET. Ben Gordon is about to go for 60 tonight.

Has 40 in 28mins, and is 8-8 on threes.

Shades of the old BG.

Yeah, that Adelman such a poor coach. Thank him for the last time your team was in the Finals.

I wish some Blazers showed some of that fire to win.

Timmy is still a monster. 21/15/4 in 24mins.

He was playing against Kevin Love at center and Derrick Williams at PF.

What the hell was Adelman thinking? He's a terrible coach at this point.

Two stat whores going after each other doesn't scream "I want to win". Barrea has won before doing things his way. Love was mad because he was missing out on some shots.

A veteran coach should be able to control Love's selfishness, but Adelman clearly isn't up to the task.

Is Aldridge now a stat whore? Or is that some blanket description you throw out there when you're bored?

Detroit has a great young core too. Monroe is a great C, and Brandon Knight is showing why we all wanted to trade up for him last year. And they'll get a lotto pick this year and fill out their core with Jeremy Lamb.

Fuck all these teams with better prospects for the future than us.

Teams I think can pass us in the race for the lottery balls:

Golden State
Sacramento
Cleveland
Detroit
Toronto

Eh, Monroe looks like an Al Jefferson with better passing. PF masquerading as a C and absolutely no defensive impact. I like Knight but the jury is out on him as well. Seems like a Jason Terry or Steve Francis type but its really early to project.

What do Francis and Jason Terry have in common?

I don't recall LMA fighting with a veteran guard who has actually played in the playoffs, let alone won a title.

Adelman lets Love run that team like Love is a #1 option. He isn't.
