I'm loving this Lin hype, but a lot of it has to do with him being Asian and playing in NY.

But they're undefeated when he starts and he broke the record for most points scored in first four starts since the NBA-ABA merger. So what he is doing goes beyond race and location. But sure, NY and race makes the story even more fun.

Tim Tebow winning all of those games sort of felt like somebody choosing head 10 times in a row and hitting every single time. Improbable? Certainly. But skill? Almost certainly not. This Lin kid is something to watch ... he may cool off some once teams really start to scout him, but he looks like he can just flat out play.

I don't get why they let Love in. Is it some publicity to try and get more people to watch it? Johnson at least plays a position that regularly takes 3's. Channing Frye last year was almost the same way but Frye was shooting and making a lot more 3's then Love has this year.
