we want capspace this off season. if we cant get anything worth while without bringing back salary then why would we do it?

Capspace won't mean much if the talent we have to choose from this Summer ends up being the table scraps after the large markets get their pick of the top guys. The goal should be adding assets, if the capspace represents a better way to add talent then so be it, but I don't think this team should be overlooking "taking back salary" particularly if that "salary" is represented by somewhat useful players ... For instance, if the price of Bledsoe is Crawford and taking back Gomes, that's not exactly a net negative deal since Gomes is at least marginally useful as a combo forward off the bench and we're going to have to have somebody to play behind Nic

I hate the fact that they are trying to be "players" in the FA market.

It's a new NBA where not even star-level players want to play in big markets.

Inept fucking management. The only FA we should worry about are the ones on our team, well, just Batum.

What happens when you have a coach that refuses to give the young guys some burn to develop? Jerryd Bayless outplays Kyrie Irving tonight. Bayless has developed into a nice PG for the Raptors. He's slowly taking over Calderon's position on the team.

I hope history doesn't repeat itself with Elliot Williams.

If your counting on Bayless to be a PG, your team is in trouble.

Still can't believe Cho just gave Bayless away for basically nothing

What a joke

Then what is the state of a team that counts on Raymond Felton to be PG?

My point wasn't advocating for Bayless, but Nate's refusal to give the young guys some burn to develop.

Bayless is on his 3rd stop in the league. He hasn't amounted to much. He's drives wildly to the hoop with his head down and looks to kick it out when he has no where to go. He thinks he's a lot better than he really is. He'll occasionally have a hot game. Kind of a Flip Murray type.

But, I do agree with your point that Nate hates playing young guys.

Wow, Bayless has one good game against Irving. And Jarrett Jack used to outplay Chris Paul. And Raymond Felton just outplayed John Wall. Big whup.

Bayless is not playing Calderon out of a job. That's certifiably insane. If anything Bayless has regressed from when he was with us.

Lol

Sorry, that's not a reliable source to the claim you're making. Try harder.

Hell, even in your own link it says:

One thing is clear: calling out his teammates is totally out of character for the public Jerryd Bayless of the last 18 months. Given that track record, in this case of he said/he said I believe Bayless deserves the full benefit of the doubt.

And when you read the olive link, he wasn't the only player that night frustrated with the substitution pattern. Sounds like he was more with the group than against them.

Try harder

Try harder? lol Suck on my nuts.

Such a simple offense, that we apparently can't run.

Oldie, but a goodie.

Monty Williams has a team of D-League castoffs fighting tooth and nail against the Lakers right now.

Jerryd Bayless

21pts, 9asts, 6reb, 7-13 FG, 3-5 3PT

Fucking Cho

I'm going to have to watch Toronto and see if he's turned into a PG. I would be gobsmacked. What's next - Telfair finally coming good?

Btw, Seattle will have a long wait -- New Orleans and the NBA finalized a lease agreement with the city that runs through 2024.

The Kings look like they are staying put. This pretty much means that they better hope for an expansion.

Pekovic is impressive. Bynum couldn't guard him.

Another 20/10 game. He also has a 21-PER.
