Would you say the Warriors are thinking about moving Ellis? As much as I like Bayless, I'd involve him in any deal that has Ellis in it.

Right with you here. Ellis is a GREAT kid (except when he lied about his injury), and him and roy in the backcourt would make it the best in the NBA.... that would be sick... playing alongside Roy, I think Ellis could turn into a Parker/Harris type player.

I'd pretty much give anyone up outside of our Big 2, then Oden and probably Przybilla for Ellis.

Except Ellis would def. get the "He's not a PG!" comments from some of our fans. I still think he'd be great playing next to Roy, just like Bayless would be, imo. But Ellis is kinda what you hope for Bayless, except you want more PG skills from JayBay... but Ellis is like, what, 22?

Damn... Ellis would be nice next to Roy. All he does is get to the rim which is what we need... very similar to tony parker except like 4-5 years younger.

I would love to get Ellis but out of all the contracts that they signed in the offseason, he was the only good one. Maybe if we took Magette or Jackson off their hands while giving them Bayless, 2009 1st rounder, RLEC, Frye, & Outlaw. I'm too lazy to see if the numbers work, but of course we are mainly giving them cap relief, a good prospect in Bayless, Frye who could be good in Nellie's system, and Outlaw who is who he is.

Biedrins was an excellent contract, as well. He's young (22) and already posting over 20 PER. Biedrins and Ellis were two very nice building blocks to lock up. If Wright and/or Randolph materialize into star-level players, the Warriors may be a pretty scary team in a couple of years.

I'd be amazed if the Warriors traded either Ellis or Biedrins. I think they'd happily sell on Jackson or Maggette. But I'm not that interested in either of those two players.

Yeah I really don't see the Warriors trading Ellis. He was the reason why Baron was expendable.

No, we don't. Some of us view it as a chance to improve. Once again, a person comes along and tells us how we are thinking. I am so glad there are so many telepaths on this board to read our minds, and tell everybody what we are thinking. How would we get along without them.
