I doubt they will allow relocation. The Clippers franchise and their fans are victims right now, and to move the team would be a very bad PR move on their part.

A part of me does remain troubled that the NBA Board of Governors will force the sale based on his words/thoughts, but ultimately it is the right decision.

I think crushing his pocketbook and forcing him to sell via financial pressure would be the preferable outcome, but that would take years.

With sponsors pulling out, the sale is inevitable anyway, forced or not.

Easier to do a quick punishment and hope it dies down. Don't want to hurt the product, show instability, create chaos.........

Look at the struggles of MLB and performance-enhancing drugs. Sure, they were being used for decades (and still are), but even with the speculation, the game was at its' worst when everything really became public-knowledge and evidence was released. Granted, the healing has slowly come around, and the NBA can't heal unless it really takes drastic action, but part of me thinks the guys that run the NBA believe they can sweep this shit away without taking a big hit.

I hate when there's national media at a press conference for something they know nothing about. Probably 80% of those fuckers know zero about basketball or the NBA. They flock to the latest viral story. Get the fuck out and let the professionals do their jobs.
