Revert back to being a .500 team? The two seasons before Allen and KG were there they had won 24 games and 33 games. How is that .500? Face it, the Celtics would be nothing without those two players. Funny how winning one championship makes a person forget about how shitty their favorite team was. Of course, most Celtics fans weren't fans of the Celtics in 04, 05, and 06.

How does Ray Allen not get thrown out? Don't the officials watch the replay for these? Also, any chance a fine and a suspension coming for Allen from the commissioner?

Seeing the replay it's clear he will be unable to argue that it was anything other than a deliberate elbow to the groin and I assume Allen will be suspended for 2 games. :tsktsk:

that's true for every player in the world! anyone could score more while taking a hit in efficiency, a great player takes more shots while maintaining his FG%.

It's what every coach tells you, starting in grade school - regardless of the provocation, when you retaliate, YOU are the one who is going to get caught! Allen should have known better.

Pay back for Boston since we all know KG does that shit all the time. I thnk the league is getting tired of Celtcis cheap shoots. I still have that nice memory of LMA slapping the back of KG's head when LMA had had enough.
 
That reminded me of the Beavis and Butthead episode where the gym teacher had Beavis kick him in the nuts over and over again. Classic episode but I can't find the Youtube video.

It does look like it was a heat of moment kinda' thing, but it doesn't excuse it. I had a guy throw and elbow at my head during a soccer game after I tripped him up from behind. Lucky for him it didn't connect.

I'm a bandwagon fan now because our roster outside of the big three now is better than it was from 03-06 (save the 06-07 season due to being ravaged by injuries)?? Rondo alone makes the roster better than it was back then. A good point guard (Rondo) does more for a team than a great wing player (Pierce). Basketball 101.

I doubt he cares. KG is out until the Wizards game (season finale) anyway, so Allen being out for a game or two won't make much of a difference.

You have all the right in the world to think I'm laughably wrong, but at least do it somewhere where I'm likely to read it.
