I wanted the Bulls earlier in the playoffs to make the Finals, but after watching how well Wade/James/Bosh play off of each other, I can't help but think that a Dallas/Miami Finals would include some great basketball.

So ... is anybody else enjoying watching the Heat in the playoffs, and want to see more of it as spring continues?

Yup. I enjoy watching James and Wade play and the team also plays very good team defense. I'd rather watch them in the playoffs than pretty much any other team (other than the Blazers, of course...they have Andre Miller!).

As a Blazer fan, I'd rather watch Andre Miller's limited game opposed to watching Russell Westbrook's mini-Iverson impersonation, were he on the Blazers.

I think the Bulls are boring as hell, so yes. But I would want to see the WC Champ knock off Miami in the finals.

the quicker and more spectacularly the Heat lose the happier I will be. Though as Mike Lupica said on Simmons' podcast...."sometimes there's just not justice in sports."

The sad thing for me is: if Wade and LBJ decided they wanted to go to CHI with Rose, Deng and Noah...they might be my 2nd or 3rd favorite team to want to watch. But having a "Big Three + Scrubs" coordination doesn't seem right to me.

I believe ZBO matches well against the Heat, he'll eat them up to become NBA Finals MVP.

That being said, I only want the Heat to win solely because it will piss of lakers fans.

I will be rooting for the Bulls because I hate the Heat. That said, I'd really like to see the Mavs beat Lakers (check!) AND the Heat. So I get what you're saying PapaG. A Dallas/Miami feels like the most exciting option. The WORST would be a Thunder/Heat matchup. I'm not sure I could watch.

From a drama/excitement standpoint, I think the Heat matched up against the Mavs would be really intriguing, but I think there's also a lot of stories to be mined in an OKC-Heat series and even the David and Goliath scenario that a Heat-Grizz series would offer. Bottom line: I don't really care, but I guess I'd lean toward a Heat-whomever series over seeing the Bulls play.

Good point about Grizz/Heat being David/Goliath. Would be amazing if Grizz beat them, oh my gosh.

By the way, what are the stories for OKC/Miami? Young stars? I can't think of any.

Seriously anyone but the HEAT. biggest Bulls fan ever right now. Lebrick will not got a ring!

You, a successful actor, can't think of a storyline for OKC/Miami?

I find that hard to believe, KingSpeed. I think it would be one of the easier Finals to sell in the post-Laker era.

I can think of a great Miami Vice sequel with Zbo and the Hoop Family as a drug cartel.

Ya, but it's not just now. I have been rooting for the Heat in the east since last year. I don't hate LBJ (even though I lived in CLE for the last 4 years). I like Wade.

Whoever does come out of the East will win the championship.............. FAMS!

4 super marketable stars. The young vs. "old" angle. People would hype it up as the kind of series that could keep repeating for the next 5-10 years.

Silly question. No doubt somebody wants the Heat to win. I'm not one of those people. I want the Heat to flame out in spectacular fashion.

I have never met a Miami Heat fan, so I don't quite hate them as much as I hate the Bulls. Although I do like Rose better than LeBron or Wade. Bottom line is it will be hard to root for any of the remaining 4 teams.

He's an actor, not a writer :devilwink:

The passing and open court finishing between LeBron, Wade and Bosh has become the most fun thing to watch in the post season.

I think it's going to be Heat/Mavs in the Finals, which should be a really fun series.
