OT: I love the Olympics

US was up 1, then Paul made the 3 and the 2, now up 6. Marc still not in? I think he's just coming in now.

Rudy always guards the toughest guard. He went from Kobe to Paul instantly, got the steal and passed downcourt, and when someone missed the fast break layup, flicked in the rebound. He did it all on that play. US by 6. Sergio's been on the bench for awhile and the pace is much slower.

Good lord. These guys are unbelievable. JCN with a behind the back bounce pass to split the double team to a rolling Pau.

2 minutes left, LeBron makes a 3 and puts up US by 9.

Spain surged with Sergio. Their guards are doing nothing. Why not try him again?

Oh isn't that cute. Kobe and Pau embrace and pat each other on the butt.

Chris Paul puts them up 11. Ever since he started scoring, the Spanish coach has kept Sergio on the bench, for tougher defense on Paul, I guess.

107-100. And it was closer than that.

Collins goes on this three minute lecture after an obvious foul on Carmelo on a rebound, and starts talking about how the refs are calling fouls that don't impact the game. Of course he didn't say a word when Westbrook simply bobbled his dribble and the refs called a foul on Spain, putting him on the line. This is why I hate Collins as an announcer. It's like he doesn't even watch the games because he's too busy impressing us with how smart he is.

He was unknown until he surprisingly made the 1972 team, then surprisingly started. I watched live in the middle of the night. They refused their silver medal. As a coach he got fired a couple of times because he was truly psychotic and screaming at his players during games and practices. They hated him. He always does well in his first year with a team because his yelling motivates them, but then has diminishing results and gets fired later. His meds may have improved, so maybe he'll last longer with Philadelphia, I don't know.

Spain attacked Love like no tomorrow. Their eyes lit up when he entered the game. On the defensive end he's probably even worse than Zach Randolph.

VAMOS ESPANA! BEAT THOSE TEAM USA SHITHEADS IF THEY CAN GET PAST ARGENTINIA!

Man am I glad Spain got pounded, from a Miami Heat perspective.

I can't believe LeBron guarded Gasol, that's still crazy to me.

Pounded? They won by 7

The game was over after Chris Paul pushed the lead to double digits. Then Coach K stopped running up the score.

A humble beating but still shocking somewhat, considering our midget height (or inferior weight in Durant's case). This team was flawed defensively.
