That's bullshit and you know it. I'm pissed off by this loss and moaning and complaining about it, but I've probably been a Blazer fan longer than you've been alive.

"Back in my day we had to walk 10 miles through the snow to school before we could bitch about the Blazers."

Good for you?

Dude bitching and trolling are two very different things. I don't have problems with bitching. What pisses me off are stupid posts like this about players we can't even have. Or just saying dumb shit to get under peoples skin.

Did you see me call you out for your bitching thread? No... You have a right to bitch !

Some of you are quick to buy into the idea that MCW couldn't/wouldn't be able to play alongside Lillard. I call BS. I see no reason they couldn't have coexisted.

Disclaimer: I was pro McCullum on draft day, so this isn't about wagging my dick and saying "I told you so". MCW just looks more "NBA ready" than I gave him credit for.

I think he was probably against us drafting him because he wanted to start at point guard. He looked at our team and said, "they're set at my position." Just that simple.

See that is exactly what is wrong with the NBA today! Players are the ones that are choosing where they want to play and who they play with. Now you have these rookies coming in who have never even played a game in the NBA with demands. I bet you that Andrew Wiggins could already demand where he wants to play. I would like to make a demand on how much I get paid at my job.

Kobe did it back in the mid-90's.

Carter-Williams has a PER of 48, and WS/48 of .59.

He is the greatest player in NBA history, based on his career statistics, and it's not even close.

I blame it all on MM. The one time we listen to him and look where it get us.......

Come on it's not like he did it against the Suns.

The game was an aberration. He's will struggle mightily this year. You watch.

Considering that CJ was drafted at 10... there's a lot of players that got picked after him.

They did not all do well. It's like the media when they make 1 person seem like a million.

Nothing to see here.

This kid didn't want to play here. He publicly said it and wouldn't work out for the Blazers. So this is fucking moot!

Similar for McCollum, but he worked out. It was on this board pre-draft. Lillard and McCollum were texting each other, so a reporter asked McCollum if he wanted Portland to draft him. He said, "Not really." He wanted a clearer path to becoming a starter without Lillard blocking him.

Why do you always have to come at me with sexual overtones?

Cause you look like Jesse Ventura. Why would you wear a cone hat if you weren't sending a message?

Link? This never happened. Prove me wrong, I guess.

Oh shit. I'll put a few minutes into looking. That quote "Not really" was on this board and linked to an article. I'm not saying he refused a workout like the other player, just that he was hoping a different team would draft him.

I'll look but I have no special searching skills.

Ya made me look.

Two. Fucking. Hours.

It's there, I tell you.

I'm pretty sure he said it in May before May 22. A commenter on Blazers Edge dated May 22 mentions that he saw it in a McCollum interview.

Michael Carter-Williams is bringing the sixers back from being down 20 pts.

Players Blazers passed on

Jordan
Chris Paul
Durant
And now Michael Carter-Williams

And me. The Blazers could have drafted me but they didn't even ask me to be in the draft.
