1-8, 6 assists, 5 boards in 31 minutes.

He's a rock star.

5 turnovers too, and he played more minutes than Luke Ridnour.

1-8 puts his FG% at 23% for the year, and 0% (0-11) from three.

Incredible, really. He may be the worst player getting major minutes in the NBA right now.

It's funny, rubio is coming back from major Knee surgery. Not everyone can be Adrian Peterson.

Rubio is not even in game shape. You should see him huffing and puffing. Give him a few more weeks and lets see where he is.

50 wins will be a little much with all the injuries. The Wolves will be in the playoffs.

It's been a few weeks now....

Austin Rivers take a bow.

tonights line (in a loss though, after the Twolves lead by a fair amount early):

4-9 from the floor, 1-2 from 3, 5-6 from the FT line, 8 assists and 5 steals. That state line is probably closer to what he'll eventually do.

his best game of the season

wolves still lose

The first time all season, in 16 games, that he's scored in double figures. And Minnesota still manages to lose to a Charlotte team that had lost 16 in a row at home. Minnesota has now lost 9 of 10. So much for Rubio making his teammates better.

Based on what, exactly, will he be a 50% 3-point shooter? Also, Rubio had 4 fouls and 2 TOs, but he did kick ass in +/- tonight.

I get the feeling some here will cheer for Rubio just to be a contrarian. No harm in that, right?

Looks like Rubio has his Wolves in playoff form (12th place in West), losing to the Bobcats and all. The Wolves are garbage. No playoffs for them this year. Enjoy the lottery.

You do know that 'closer to' doesn't mean "exactly the same as", right? And you know what "probably" means, right?

Odd that you think I'm cheering for him period, and cheering for him to be contrarian. If anything, I'm pointing out that ignoring a game where he had decent production doesn't mean it didn't happen.

no harm in watching him, good or bad

and i fully expect him to end up at around a 9/5/8 kind of player, once he demands a trade

holy shit, rubio is mr sonic

inception has been achieved

Was Nate worth a 5th pick in a lottery?

It's getting more difficult to continue this thread without Minstrel and Ed O. telling us all how we were wrong about Rubio, and how he was the key for an instant title.
