The City of Seattle and the Sonics reached an agreement that will allow the team to move to Oklahoma City. Gotta feel for those Seattle fans. Hopefully the NBA will be back in the northwest soon.

You think they'll be like the Rays and change into winners. Nah, money move and they end up paying way too much money in the settlement.

OKHC Fans have already picked the colors for their team to be black and gold. They are still deciding on a name Barons,Thunderbirds, Thunder, and Outlawz are the choices.

I feel real bad for Sonics fans.... I guess this shows us that money can do anything... what a real shame. Also what division will OKC be in? Not Northeastern like the old Sonics right? or the Southwest division..? but its full.... How the hell will they make it work?

Thunder? That sounds like the name for a WNBA team.

ouch, and a name change too. that sucks.
I'm sorry, but Barons, and Outlawz (that can't be considered, can it!? ) sound like D-League names and Thunderbirds and Thunder sound like WNBA names!

lol the Trailblazers should have changed their name to "outlawz" 6 years ago.

Anyway, It would be weird seeing a nba team with a "z" ending replacing where a "s" would usually be.

I guess Thunder would work or I'd go with Thunderbirds, but that seems like a long name.

How is this related to the New Jersey Nets?

Barons? Is there a lot of nobility in Oklahoma City? Or is it suppose to be an oxymoron?

I think they should be the Tornados.

LOL What about Oklahoma city Unibombers! or Oklahoma City tumbleweeds!

You will never be forgotten, Reign Man

black and gold are nice colors...the proposed names are not. If they must choose from that list, Thunderbirds is the only name that is viable for a professional sports franchise. Barons and Thunder have d-league written all over them.

Five minutes after the Brooklyn deal falls through, Ratner will sell the Nets to Seattle interests, and they will become the Sonics.

How would that even work?

Would the Nets franchise just be wiped out? that would suck
