Jack and Landry have made a huge difference. Same improvement we could make with more depth next year. Also, thanks to us, they landed a future All Star in Harrison Barnes.
His 11.8 PER is glittering like an uncut diamond.
That got a chuckle out of me.

The Warriors have a far way to go to get to the Pistons level, so I think the Grizzlies analogy is more relevant, but if you look at their roster, it was just a matter of time before they started winning basketball games. David Lee, like Zach Randolph, is one of the most under-appreciated players in the league. He's been a consistent 20/10 player throughout the bulk of his career, but when was the last time you ever heard someone mention Lee with the league's greats?
Coach.
Jackson is a good head coach, and that team is finally buying into his defensive philosophies
to the OP?- besides Bogut, everyone is healthy. Having Curry back from constant ankle issues is their biggest plus over last season. Klay Thompson isn't a rookie anymore and Harrison Barnes is fitting in well. Jarret Jack is giving them quality minutes off the bench.
STOMP
I think their depth has alot to do with it.
DING DING DING!!
We have a winner.
And this is what I've been saying to those who want to take all our cap money and get one player. We're about 5 players away. We need depth. It isn't always about a particular player, but quantity of talent.
They got this guy to techno dance in their locker room.

But for the most part; depth only works in very rare occasions when talking about champions. Most championship teams have 3 all-star caliber players; with at least one being a superstar. Then the bench and other players are specialists like shooters, defenders, rebounders and enforcers. I'm hoping Lillard becomes our superstar and Aldridge the all-star. Maybe Batum could be the third all-star caliber player; but I doubt he makes the all-star team unless we are the most winningest team in the league. As for the intangibles... I think Hickson is that rebounder and almost can pass for a decent defender too. We have Babbitt as our shooter and Matthews as our defender. We need more role players to build around this core.
