A fair point.

Really? I think you need to remind yourself how much Allen Crabbe will earn next year. [Edit: Duh - misread you. See post below - Cleveland can unload Frye and/or Shumpert.]

Huh? We don't like people with rings?

The rule of any trade is if you get the best player, you win. I've never been a huge Love fan, but he's the best player in that trade.
That's a dumb rule. If your getting back a all-star/superstar level player then yeah, but giving up 3 role players for a glorified role player isn't a good thing.

I don't even have to argue the rings part.

Do you honestly think that Leonard's defense at this point is worse than Vonleh's offense?
I rank Leonard's Power Forward defense about where I would rank Dave Fucking Navarro's guitar playing. His defense at the center position is better though, like a Thurston Moore - it shouldn't work, but it just kind of does for some reason.

I wished more people used analogies like this..... It would make my life a whole lot simpler.

I love Hagar as a singer. When he joined Van Hagar, he didn't play guitar much, if at all. Eddie kind of buried him.

{feet stomp} :smiley-195517897341:curse::hater:You guys should support every player on the team.

Are our chances better or worse if every player on the team succeeds?

I don't see the point in rooting against them.

You just wait until pre-season when we see that hippie MyLe with his newly grown-out 'do. Only thing I'll support for him then will be a haircut.

The first post I am in 100% agreement with you on. :)

Your right. you SHOULD support every player on the team and hope they get better and don't hope they get worse. That's the foundation of being a fan. :)

To answer.

Yes

Because one believes the team would be better with someone else. Or you htink they are a shitty person, like Bonzi or Sheed

We're stuck with the players Neil signs and assigns to the roster. Tough.

I saw them do a solo duel (Sammy on one stack, Eddie on the other) in Nashville, TN, and while Eddie was certainly the master, Sammy was no slouch.

But George Harrison? Really?

The foundation for being a fan is hoping the team wins. If the team has no realistic chance of winning, hoping they are bad enough to get a lot better, so they can win, is what a fan should want. A fan should not want their team to win 41ish games each year and get the 6th to 8th seed. A fan also has favorite players, and players they don't like. I am a fan of the TrailBlazers. I hope the Blazers win a championship every year. I don't have to like certain players. Nor do I have to like the way certain players I think are really nice play.

To me, being the best isnt about how fast you go or how much you can shred. Its how many emotions can that player bring out of me. Harrison sang with his guitar. More guitar players would do good by studying him.
Gilmore is another example and I see him on most lists. He is not even close to a slasher or great technical guitar player, but he sings with the instrument.

MM? When you gonna come out of thew closet and divulge your secret crush on ML? When his hair is long enough for you to Salivate over? :)

Listen to Something, or While my guitar gently weeps. He makes his guitar talk to you. The emotion comes out in his playing. That takes a ton of talent.

I honestly don't understand how you (or other posters) get this impression that MM doesn't want Leonard to get better. Everyone wants our players to get better. Maybe we don't think certain players will get better, or even believe certain players can get better, but I seriously doubt there's anyone in this forum who doesn't want players to get better. @Mediocre Man wants Leonard to learn to play defense. @Tunchi wants Dame to be more efficient with his shot selection. @STOMP wants Turner to improve his outside shot. @Rastapopoulos wants Connaughton to be able to convert his athleticism to actual NBA-level skill. @jlprk wants Vonleh to develop a legit offensive game.

I will guarantee you every poster in this forum who criticizes a player does so because he wants that player to improve the area of critique.

This. It is also what Gilmore does. And in my opinion Navarro.
