I only saw Collins play a few times before the tourney and honestly when the Blazers drafted him I didn’t like the pick. He didn’t play much for Gonzaga til later in the season, KD came into the NBA a much better offensive player, and shooter in my opinion.

It’s hard to say how good of a shooter Collins was in college, he didn’t shoot much. A cold streak or hot streak would alter his % a lot. Rookie year though, Collins efg was 45.8%, and KD’s was 45.1%, ppg KD scored a lot more but shot badly. Obviously different situations. Sophomore year for KD his efg went up to 51% and he shot 42.2% from 3, so we’ll see what Collins does, though Collins usage will be a lot lower than KD’s, because the Blazer guards get a lot of shots.
