I hate it. Can't believe the PAC-12 is dying rather than getting it's shit figured out...
100%. Absolutely.USC actively tanked the league. They played both sides and kept the league from expanding. The rest of the teams should file a lawsuit against USC. They cost the league millions.... maybe billions.
Oldest conference in the country. Commish was arrogant enough to think it wasn't necessary to beat b12 to the punch. Appears he was wrong.100%. Absolutely.
He's right. Everyone will regret this.
Someone in that tweet thread posted that WSU voted not to add Kansas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, etc in 2021. So it kinda feels like their chickens are coming home to roost.
They didn't want to share all that Apple TV money.
If Oregon decides to keep the PAC-10-t0-16 together it could own the West Coast for many years to come.
Add some teams in the west like San Diego State and add some from outside the west.
Play a neutral-site game at SoFi Stadium every season against a big-time opponent that would also love to have SoCal exposure. Alabama? Georgia?
Time to do some thinking instead of pretending there's only one course of action.
Oregon has already been in the national title game twice as a member of the Pac 10/Pac 12.If the goal is to win a conference championship, Oregon should stay in the Pac. If the goal is to have a legit chance at competing for a national title, they need to play in a top conference with an elite revenue deal.

If you believe recruits will turn down Oregon to go to a B1G , big-money school like Indiana, then you have a case. I don't believe a potential player will go to Indiana or Minnesota over Oregon because those schools have a better TV deal.
