Reddit thinks that dude is full of shit so take it with a grain of salt.

If Oregon decides to keep the PAC-10-t0-16 together it could own the West Coast for many years to come.
Add some teams in the west like San Diego State and add some from outside the west.

Play a neutral-site game at SoFi Stadium every season against a big-time opponent that would also love to have SoCal exposure. Alabama? Georgia?

Time to do some thinking instead of pretending there's only one course of action.

Would USC be throwing in the towel on the Pac-12 if they dominated it ?
Look at what USC is giving up to join the B1G.
Look at what Oregon (and Washington) will be giving up.

Even if Utah leaves, Oregon, Stanford, and UW have won 9 of the 12 championships. It would be a shame to not try to rebuild.

If the goal is to win a conference championship, Oregon should stay in the Pac. If the goal is to have a legit chance at competing for a national title, they need to play in a top conference with an elite revenue deal.

If staying in the Pac12 was even remotely close to the same as being in the BigTen, USC/UCLA would have never left and Oregon/Washington wouldn't even consider leaving.

Oregon has already been in the national title game twice as a member of the Pac 10/Pac 12.

If you believe recruits will turn down Oregon to go to a B1G , big-money school like Indiana, then you have a case. I don't believe a potential player will go to Indiana or Minnesota over Oregon because those schools have a better TV deal.

It's a new world man. There's a reason why USC left and why they don't want Oregon to follow.
