Wasnt aware, but there's a lot Im not aware of....
But, Ive had both dogs & cats over the years and I would have to say, the dogs I had, were very smart and trainable, my cats were only trained to use the litter box, tried to teach them to swim and chase balls with no results.

Now thats nice feature and it's great that it's available to use. For me its text messages, some e-mail & viewing different sites on the web. At 73 just have this concern that all my old girl friends would track me down.
Ahhhh, now we’re getting down to it! Back during WW1 you did some sketchy shit and have been hiding here ever since! I see HA!

2 years since I was last enrolled at a University, because I'm always try to become a better, more knowledgeable human being. I'm all to familiar with the racket that is higher education. Not sure what that has to do with anything.
I wish I could afford more knowledge for myself.

We recently received our first bill from my daughter’s college. They want $39,100 a SEMESTER!!!!! That’s tuition/room/board and NO books FAMS! Schools with no football programs need to get that money somehow!

Why does it cost so much to attend Notre Dame? They have a football program.

yep, but look at all the Audi's, BMW's, Acura, Lexus are on the road. Along with the $2k electric bikes.
Americans love their creature comforts...
Along with a Rav4, I have a pedal assist Ebike I bought for 2K a year and a half ago. I primarily use it to commute to work (11 miles each way) about half the year from April through September/October. It takes about 30 minutes each way which is only 10 minutes or so longer then driving as it's a more direct route on the bike paths. It is so much more enjoyable then my driving route of stoplights and freeway. While I don't consider it exercise, it does get the blood moving so I arrive at work alert and ready to go. A normal road bike wouldn't work as I'd arrive inappropriately sweaty. The odometer just went over 2,500 miles which means by Oct 2024 or so the bike will have paid for itself in gas savings alone. Along with leaving a significantly smaller carbon footprint then operating my car, it is a quicker way to run local errands as there is no hunting for parking.

Count me among the Americans that love having one.

Why do you hate Amurica?

Thats more than my sons paid for a whole year at Oregon.
How much of that is out of State cost?

Private and non resident tuition is ridiculous. There is basically zero reason to go out of state for college unless you get scholarships.

Totally sucks. I feel bad for Oregon State. They will be lucky to get a game against Oregon at the beginning of the season. For Oregon. Hire the architects, and the construction crews. Time to add 30 grand to Autzen. Second deck on Autzen just around the corner.
Here is what they are working on. I agree they need to add on but a second deck isn't really feasible.

So all the WCC schools….Gonzaga/USF/Pepperdine etc., are about the same costs. Around $50,000 a year + room and board and fees. There are no “in state or out of state”…..all the same for everybody. So our daughters is $78,000 a year +books. She said she learned a way on Tik tok where these students all share books….we’ll see how it works for her.

The only problem is in some institutions you need to have a receipt or proof of purchase to get into the class system portal that allows you to submit your class work and get graded. I hope she is successful.

I thought THE BETTER HCP was on scholarship?
Brother, thanks to blond haired blue eyed baby Jesus she is.
After graduation, of the $312,000 due, she/we will owe about $12,000. MM, when they sent us the numbers, my wife and I actually broke down in tears FAMS! Don’t know how people could send their kids to institutions like that without major help. Just so excited she’s going to get all the chances and advantages I never had.

Haven’t thought of that….will definitely research, thanks.
