I would say that sometimes people like to come on to message boards to play a "persona" more than they would like to engage in good faith discussions. I never really had any direct beef with PapaG, but it didn't take a "rocket surgeon" to figure out his modus operandi.

I agree with you. It was a very difficult decision to make. One that had been discussed by all of the Blazer staff for quite some time.

It came down to this, we have very few rules here but the biggest rule is no personal insults to other members. You can disagree with a person's opinion or view on something but repeatedly insulting people just can't happen. Personally I understand that someone could be having a bad day and just needs to vent. That's why I'll edit posts. But continuing to insult people time and time again when you know it's wrong... PapaG was asked multiple times publicly and privately to stop. He didn't.

How often should I have PM'd you to stop with the personal insults? You've been temporarily banned for this previously. I have edited your posts more times than I can remember for insulting members. It stopped for a while and then recently, the last couple of months, it started up again. Just tonight you commented that I was editing your posts and yet you continued to insult people. It's not like we're using some obscure rule to ban you.

I know some mods should be able to read my private messages, certainly Denny could. I give permission to read any PM and if I ever mentioned his kids, post it, publicly shame me or life ban me. Not a problem cause I have never said anything even close.
