We moved into a brand new house, in a new development about 3 years ago. My wife comes from a Catholic family and has some crosses and pictures of the Virgin Mary hanging on her side of our bedroom. One night we are upstairs in the office talking and hear a loud noise downstairs in the area of the kitchen or master bedroom. I assume some plates or something else fell in the kitchen as they were being air dried. We went down to inspect and all four of the religious items were knocked off the wall but that was all that was knocked off.
Fast forward about a year and we've got a dog at this point. I'm in the bedroom watching the first Paranormal Activity one night and the wife is asleep, so it's just me and the dog. The first time the demon makes it's presence known in the movie, our dog lifts her head and stares intently at the bedroom door that is open to the living room and growls a little. I figure nothing of it and she puts her head down and goes back to relaxing. The next time the demon is felt in the movie, she lifts her head again, stares at the doorway and growls a little. I pick up on it this time. She continued to do that every time the demon was felt in the movie and only when it was felt in the movie before I finally turned it off.
Had another experience where I was in the shower and the wife was upstairs working on her doctorates in the office. I heard a bang while in the shower and called out to her to see if she fell or something but didn't hear her say a word. I turn off the water, get out and the dresser draws in our bedroom were all opened. I called out to the wife who was still upstairs and had not come down at any point while I was in the shower.
I know Laredo has a bunch of ghost stories and I have others from my time here. I've never actually seen anything like a ghostly figure with red eyes but I've felt like something is there enough to believe in these things.
