Lame duck W only has a short time left in office. Outgoing presidents typically dole out controversial pardons and do deals with people they ordinarily wouldn't because they don't have to hang around and face the music.

What will Bush do before he leaves?

Who will he pardon?

Karl Rove? for his role in the Valerie Plame scandal?
Everyone involved in the torture fiasco?
Dick Cheney for his many crimes?


What do you think W will do during his last days in the White House?
 
He doesn't need to pardon Rove or Cheney, no shit's gonna happen to them. He'll just chill, drink a few beers and call it a day.

again, he's not going to face shit, so no need to pardon. he'll probably pardon a few people you've never heard of.
 
Maybe he'll pardon Obama for all the lies he told during his campaign, and all the friends he threw under the bus.

He's going to pardon his thanksgiving turkey, that's the only one I know of for sure.
 
Probably Scooter Libby will receive a pardon from Bush.

Wow, just a month ago, Obama was part of a terrorist cell, now his worst crime is lying, during a presidential campaign, no less? Stop the presses.

Shooter's not in favour of a pardon for Obama's terrorist activities. Just his lying.

I hope Bush gives a blanket pardon to everyone who had a hand in crafting interrogation policy or who interrogated any terrorist. The Dems are chomping at the bit to haul members of the Bush Administration before them in Congress, and it's my hope that Bush denies them that opportunity.

Also, I hope Bush pardons Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean.
 
I don't think you can pardon someone UNTIL they've been convicted, or at least admitted guilt, so Cheney better request a fasttrack trial and confess before Jan. 20th.

Ford pardoned Nixon first thing he did when he got into office. The spectacle of a trial for Nixon would have distracted the govt. from doing its work.

I hope that torture is not only legalized, but mandatory treatment for any and all suspected terrorists. Then, we can put it on TV and make a killing in the redneck-reality TV market.

Don't say that this won't eventually happen.
 
Hopefully he'll pardon HCP for all those horrible threads he started.
