No one should procreate and humanity should go extinct and our children should not be properly cared for because El Presidente doesn't get a vacation too. And we are selfish.

If you really cared take it out of your vacation.

every living thing on earth is hard wired to do one thing above all others, often times at its own peril.

procreate.

this isnt some sort of new revelation bruh.

Why do people have kids?

Lots of reasons. I myself did not plan my son but once I found out he was on his way I was overjoyed. We could have chose abortion. But why would we do that? Especially when there are so many piece of shit, selfish people in this world. We understood that we need to raise one that's going to be completely opposite of that. We need to raise one who was going to do things differently than humans are doing them now. He's going to think critically and forward. He will be a steward of this planet. I always tell him that his generation is going to fix the problems that my parents generation caused and my generation will be the one to teach him.

When he was 5 (5 fucking years old!!) he asked me:

Papa, how can I change the world?

I'm raising a president bro. Straight up. I realize that I have a responsibility to my planet to not contribute to overpopulation and to teach my child to not let this muthafucka turn into the Earth featured in Wal-E.

Biologically, yes. But humans are more advanced and have different desires for procreation.

People have children to have miniature versions of themselves. The children are there for company and companionship, to fill a void in one's life, to make a family "whole" in the traditional sense. Parents have children to command authority over someone, to have someone who looks up to them and admires them. Often times, parents relish the achievements of their children, and in turn, the successes of the child is often the successes of the parent. Parents often show off their children, compare them to their friends as if they were commodities.

And Newsflash:

I don't know about you, but I work to live I don't live to work. My job is how I support my family. That is the main reason why people are employed. Not to make our country run but to take care of our families.

Says the person who has no kids? How do you know why people have kids when you don't have any? Do you understand how silly you sound?

SO YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?

Frankly, yes. I think people that are accepting of others are better than those who are not. You don't accept the fact that parents have children and we need to take care of them. Your stance on this is frankly very very silly.

I work to live as well, but this maternity/paternity leave is an injustice to those who do not get, what amounts to a 10% bonus for something that is non-performance related. Like I said earlier, if someone gets time off, someone else has to work harder to cover them.

Actually its very logical, while yours is based in emotion. Parents having children should not mean that they should be able to work less in their job and get paid for it.

You sure think negatively bro.. There are always two ways to think of things that come before you. Some people always use the negative way to think about it. If you found, with your reasoning, that you felt I was talking about you then I think that's weird.

No they don't. Hire a fucking temp. You really sound like a whiner right now.

It was a joke, hence the caps and the :MARIS61:

So hire a temp and pay the original worker just because they choose to have a child, which is totally unrelated to their job. Sounds like a winning idea.

Jobs are to make money for the company. The bottom line.

Yeah no... if that's the case what the fuck are company picnics for? What are company holiday parties for? Why do lots of people choose jobs that pay for daycare or have on-site daycare? I think that we're just going to have to agree to disagree because I think your stance is flat-out wrong.

Bigger the company picnic = smaller the annual bonus. Keep them happy enough not to quit.

You sound like a Once-ler. Never own a business. Your employees would hate to work for You. You'd have such a high attrition rate. You might as well be a slave driver.

Oh, I am. I'm abusive as fuck if I need something done. :MARIS61:

But usually I'm nice enough.

Are you one of those people that complain about the smokers getting extra breaks? First and foremost I fucking hate smokers. Most of them don't give a shit about the people around them and 99% of them are fucking litterers. They just flick there butt wherever and don't give a shit that it's going to end up in our water system when they do that. As much as I hate smokers, I still understand why people smoke. For most smokers, smoking is a stress reliever. I don't give a shit if they take a break to go smoke. Come back in this muthafucka stress free so you don't shoot up the place.

No. But if they smell, I'll tell them they smell like shit and to go wash up. Or if they're missing and I need them I'll grab them.
