Probably should provide a link to the Canzano column that triggered this:

So, yeah. You've arrived at the final home game of this miserable season. Your team is headed to the lottery. You're having a tough time hiring a GM. You fired your coach midseason. Fans blame you.

You are Paul Allen.

What do you do?

I believe this is PA's response:

I don't blame Paul at all, John.

I put total blame on the management and talent evaluators.

Love that an owner feels comfortable enough with himself and his situation to call out a hack when he reads one. Canzano will say and write anything that draws attention, with or without sources.

Fuck yeah, I love it. PA just earned points with me. Fuck JC.

That being said.... I'm still wondering PA's intentions with the team.

Less worrying about the media, more worrying about finding some basketball people to successfully run the draft and the cap space this summer.

That's just me, though. Billionaires getting into Twitter wars with local columnists seems a bit juvenile to me.

It was one tweet and it was funny.

I agree somewhat with PapaG. Kinda odd that PA is responding - is he that insecure?

But you gotta love any public figure taking the opp to call out JC.

I don't blame Paul. I'm not a 3rd grader who blames other people for "making me mad". Things happen. It's sports, not life or death. Sure, I'd like to be a fan of an NBA title team but if I'm not it won't be that big of a deal to me.
