You don't trade Sanchez. That's a moron Cashman move. Get older. You trade McCann who is one step from being ancient. Given his RBI production and his position, you probably could get one, good, young, major league ready player for him. Or a couple guys ready with good upside. I'll give you a perfect place. Texas. Their catchers flat out suck. They might be able to get a really talented OF in Brinson. I think Texas will be in win now mode plus he is their third rated prospect. I think that deal can get done. Of course, Cashman is entirely too stupid to pull of deals like that.

I feel as if I've spoken to you before .....does this board breed clones?

Dump! on the Yankee board. I never thought I'd see the day.

It really pisses me off when all these no knowledge clowns disagree with a great baseball mind such as yours. Stand your ground, stay tough, I'm sure somewhere, someday, someone will actually understand you. You hang in there.

Very good, you made a funny, are you now ready to address a seemingly harmless post (#30)?
Or do you REALLY feel it necessary to disagree, challenge, question, doubt or try and refute every single one of my posts?

Grab a hold of your self. Jeez.

I won't lose sleep over it either way, but at least the rest of the board or anyone else who is reading this thread can see what I already suspect.

I don't need you to grovel or constantly pat me on the back.....and I understand you may not want to give in and volunteer anything which could hint at giving Cashman credit for anything or any move he may have gotten right..after all...you have to keep up appearances and remain in good stead with the circle of 99%ers, but can you at least stop insulting my intelligence?

It's quite alright, the Republic will not fall.

By the way, while you're still here, one question for you (and/or the board)....
If the Yanks had won 91-92 games and lost the wildcard game to a team (Houston?) which won 86-88 games, would you still be singing the same song?

Just wondering. Sorry, but I must end it with a "lol" as I nod my head.

lol

You mean the same way that I asked you 3-4 times to explain the TWEAKS that you would make or like to see that you couldn't respond to.

...^^^ you won't get anything that resembles a coherent answer...if you get any response at all, it will probably be, well, you know.

Yeah I know, a mini version of war & peace glorifying ALL of Cashman's past transactions making him sound like the second coming of Christ. Oh & of course that will be followed by his usual LOL.

Cashman is an f'n moron. In fact, the only intelligent things he has done in the past 5 years was trading for Eovaldi and Grigorius and not trading any of his young prospects this year. Other than that, he's been a complete tool. Let's face it, the team freakin sucks with a huge payroll. His Ellsbury, Beltran and Headley contracts were beyond moronic. If the imbecile had any brain cells left, he would eat 60% of Texiera's contract, get him out for one good prospect. go with with Bird full time.

I see this board has some dumbasses like the A's board somewhere else does. They love Beane no matter how many times he screws up. Seems some Cashman ass kissers here are the same. Let's be realistic. Cashman is a complete jackass. He has no clue what he is doing.

That is a huge if!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like to kick a guy when he's down but I'd do likewise for CC.

I hope he gets his act together. Always liked CC, tough competitor...will hang in there until you have to save him from himself....pitched with knee problem....age? too much mileage?...... (Cleve,Milw)..Yanks.
Still the last Yankee SP to win 20 G w/well over 200 IP...and could be the last for quite some time...yep, kick them when they're down!
And just for good measure, and not to upset anyone but, he pitched to a 2.87 ERA in 9 GS in Aug/Sept. 2015
And he wasn't one of the Yankee P who embarrassed themselves and the team during those pivotal Sept matches vs Toronto.
(neither was Tanaka).

...even if the Yanx were willing to "eat 60% of Teixeira's contract" in order to trade him, they'd still have to get him to agree to wave his NTC and I don't see that happening. Tex is from the Baltimore area and nearly signed with the O's instead of the Yanx and that's the only place I can envision him agreeing to being traded to...and I doubt the Yanx would trade him to a division rival anyway.

...we also need to consider that Tex's numbers will still probably be better than Bird's. Don't get me wrong, I really like Bird and I think he's got a future with the Yanx but I'm not sure he's quite ready to be the full time 1Bman...the kid still has some maturing to do as a hitter and he strikes out a ton.
...yeah, he hit a few bombs last year but so did Tex and Tex's defense makes the whole infield's defense much better. It's hard to get a ground ball or a throw past Tex...defensively, he's one of the best I've ever seen.

...I just don't understand why the Yanx would be willing to eat $15 Mil of his contract while also sacrificing his production on offense and defense,

Must've missed something, do we now want to trade Tex?
Why?
Just play him and get all we can from him....he knows he'll be playing probably for his last contract after this one is up.
If he breaks down, the Yanks move Bird in full time....its basically a win-win situation for the Yanks....they get good production from Tex as long as they can, or they begin (sooner than later) to find out about Bird.

I don't believe Tex' contract will prevent the Yanks from spending a few bucks if they feel they have to.

Contrary to popular belief, I happen to believe even Hal and Cashman know how much money will be coming off the books in the next 1-2 years. Jeez

They are inspecting every carry on bag, and luggage, after the incident last week, with the Aircraft blown out of the sky. Looking for any incendiary devices. Bomb materials can be hidden in the smallest of places, eluding inspectors......!

Oh I didn't even know that happened. Thanks Rob.

^^^^^^^Crunchy is the only way to go!

The Yankees have always over rated their own talent......
nothing new there, but to hold on to this talent waiting
for the light bulbs to click on
is ludicrous.
