Last time we played them Lillard was predominantly guarded by Brandon Knight though. So it seems DET in general has his number (just shooting-wise).

Had a rare rookie night in his so far sterling season. Still 14 pts, 7 ast, I'll take it.
Rare rookie night? Are there any rookies in the league or in the last 5 years who have averaged 14 & 7???

I'm clearly talking about him, and his 3/12 shooting night
I'm clearly talking about him, and his 3/12 shooting night. It was a poor performance for his standards. He's probably tired as heck from playing 65 games.

My point is 14 & 7 is a great night for a PG. Not a "rookie night" unless you can find me a rookie point guard who has averaged that recently.

He was HOUNDED by Bynum, but made hay when Will wasn't in the game. Will Bynum had one job to do, which was shut Lillard the fuck down, and that was the best he could do.
He's just as good as 22 year old. The stats don't lie.
So he was slightly below average for a #1 pick. Not a "rare rookie night."
Actually Will Bynum was incredible on O as well. So if he had one job to do then he was overachieving for a night.
I'd say he was, yeah. He was all sorts of tenacious.
If we happen to need a backup PG (for some reason Maynor doesn't come back) then you could do a lot worse then Will Bynum.
