Will Bynum is a ruthlessly physical defender. Lillard gets bullied by big burly PGs.

Last time we played them Lillard was predominantly guarded by Brandon Knight though. So it seems DET in general has his number (just shooting-wise).

Rare rookie night? Are there any rookies in the league or in the last 5 years who have averaged 14 & 7???

I'm clearly talking about him, and his 3/12 shooting night. It was a poor performance for his standards. He's probably tired as heck from playing 65 games.

He was HOUNDED by Bynum, but made hay when Will wasn't in the game. Will Bynum had one job to do, which was shut Lillard the fuck down, and that was the best he could do.

My point is 14 & 7 is a great night for a PG. Not a "rookie night" unless you can find me a rookie point guard who has averaged that recently.

Watch Lils blowup in Philly. :)

Actually Will Bynum was incredible on O as well. So if he had one job to do then he was overachieving for a night.

None of this matters though. All that ever matters is that we win the game.

If we happen to need a backup PG (for some reason Maynor doesn't come back) then you could do a lot worse then Will Bynum.

I would love a Will Bynum type of player: great one-on-one defense, good offensive output, fast as hell. Looks like he could bench press a bus full of nuns, too.

Aldridge haters and Monroe supporters sure look silly tonight
