Nothing Miami was offering was better than Jrue Holiday...

Or even close.

And there it is, seconds….you know, like the early second round picks we sold for cash last year. Pretty sweet that Brogdan and rob williams both will return us nothing.

Well its good we carved out $100 million of salary for Ayton, Grant, Ant, Timelord, Thybulle over the last few years and all are basically worthless.

Cronin is such a great GM!

just checked:

currently, Orlando is 2nd in defensive rating; and they are 28th in offensive rating; and they are 30th in 3ptFG%; and 30th in points

it's been done to death, but halfway thru the season, Simons makes more sense in Orlando than he did in the summer. They have a defense that could cover up Ant's flaws and their offense need lots of help

Cole Anthony + Gary Harris + 2025 1st (better of Orlando/Denver) for Simons

Blazers waive Reath (or trade him for a 2nd) to make room on the roster

Makes even more sense with Suggs having possible nagging back issues.

Maybe just maybe Ant and Jerami won't be here in three weeks, we'll have waived the salary we receive in return and have picks and/or porspects to show for those two. I really doubt that happens because with Joe we don't get rosters that make sense... haven't had one roster at any point during Cronin's tenure that made sense together Joe has fucking said so himself.

Joe might have good ideas or maybe he only has bad ideas but if he does have good ideas he is fucking shitty and executing them to this point, so the ideas have no value... I'm just keeping hope for now that Joe turns things around and we have a roster that makes sense for the first time in three weeks but my expectations are bleak.

Let's hope they can't read boxscores, specifically the Clippers game boxscore.

...except they have Anthony Black and Cole Anthony, who has been leading amazing comebacks of late.

Orlando's front office has shown amazing canniness and patience the past few years and I don't see that changing, unfortunately for us.

Only vets we'll offload without a buyout are Timelord and possibly Thybulle (if he's ever healthy).

Cole "lead" one comeback recently. Orlando's front office, as you said, isn't stupid and realize relying on shit shooting Cole Anthony to uplift their offense is a fool's errand.

Hate it?

Ayton to Lakers
Ben Simmons to Blazers (expiring contract) plus 1st rounder
Knecht, Vanderbilt, Hachimura to Brooklyn

yes please. Keep the 1st out of it, I doubt either of those teams would include one. Also doubt LA would take Ayton.

They'll be getting Franz Wagner back soon and he's pretty much a point forward. I mean, I WANT Orlando to trade for Anfernee, I just can't see it happening.

Bored so dumping another trade idea

Grant to Boston
Porzingus to Houston (he’s always hurt but for Houston might make sense for playoff run)
Reed, Cam and Jeff Green to Portland

Being a point forward doesn't solve their shooting though. They're dead last in the league at 3pt%. And it's not even close. They're shooting 30.7%! The next lowest is 33.3. Dead last in PPG. Only Charlotte and Washington have a worse ORTG than them. Only two teams have a lower eFG%. Their offense is BRUTAL. It needs some help.

So... they get "help" from a struggling player on another team with terrible offense?

Getting a player like Ben Simmons would be right up the Blazers alley a player with all the potential, but just can’t put it all together.
