wow just wow.

It's different when fans writers or tv reporters say this but damn his own peers feel this way. Time to take a long look in the mirror.

i know its tough to read, BasX, but just try, i think you can do it

I for one am not surprised because vince is not being utilized on this team. of course you can say its his fault, but the team as a whole should be to blame too. did you see PHX@LAL last night? kobe was not involved in the offense at all and as a result, the team got blown out.

when your best offense player is not being involved, your team suffers. simple as that. far too often this season, vince is not getting into the game. until the nets realize, "okay, we have a guy on our team who all the years before is a 25, 6, and 5 player, and we need to use him" they will keep losing.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MaxaMillion711 @ Jan 18 2008, 05:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>here is the problem i am seeing. you guys seem to think that vince wants to be kobes equal. when has he ever said this? even back in 2000 and 2001, kobe was better because kobe was a different player. kobe has that arrogance and that cockiness. vince has never had that and never will so the problem is you guys keep comparing him to kobe.

when vince is plays well and he is the main offense guy, the nets usually win or have a chance to win. the reason for all the hate lately is that vince is the #2 and #3 option. that just cant happen. vince is not gonna complain either, he just wants whats best for the team.

when he goes back to being #1, I have a feeling the hate will go away.</div>

Max he's never said that he wants to be kobe's equal, I'll give you that. However, Vince noticeably plays harder against Kobe and TMac. these are guys that play his position, are a similar age and were once considered the cream of the crop of the SGs in the league. I'm assuming based on the fact that he acknowledges there's a rivalry between him and these guys that he'd want to be better than his rivals. If not then what's the point of the rivalry? There was an interview earlier on nba.com where he goes through his NBA journey in a series of slides and he acknowledges these rivalries.
