So let me get this straight, I post this 12 hours BEFORE you and you actually get 3 likes for this...... What is happening to this place?
Seems like not many people can see your posts for some reason?

Disregard the troll. The Blazers have had an injury advantage twice (In 2016 vs LAC and the WCF in 2019 against the GSW who did not have Durant - Blazers didn't have Nurkic either) in the last 10 playoff series they have been in. It's not a common thread they have relied upon. In fact more than not teams have faced an injured Blazer team in the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm trolling, but just to get you all to wake up and realize that this series ain't even a serious matchup. The Blazers, regardless of their past with injury advantages/disadvantages, certainly got the advantage this time. So, as I told you, don't worry about it, the Blazers are a shoo-in. Maybe next round they'll get a team with all their players so at least the games will be competitive. There aini't no honor in whoopin' on the Nuggets without Murray and Barton, or with the latter at 50%. So, keep the whoopee down until next round. Then, if your team wins that one, you all can come out and start celebrating. This Nugget series doesn't mean squat. It's like beating PSU-----no biggie. The Blazers and their fans can say all they want about the big bad Nuggets and their #3 seed, but that was earned in the past by a team that doesn't even resemble the one assembled for this upcoming series. At least the earlier version of the Nuggets would have provided a competitive series.

Denver is only favored by 1 point at home. Vegas is implying we are the better team.

The Blazers are the better team when the Nuggets are missing 40 % of their starters. Denver sucks with what they got left. I would set the Blazers as 8 point favorites.

Works for me. If by game time they are missing 100% of their starters, all the better!

That's kind of crazy considering Jokic is going to be the league MVP, and there's a 50% chance that he doesn't make it out of the first round. So the league decided not to market him at all. Dame and Jokic are pretty much the most fun guys to watch in the league.

I guess they'd rather go with bigger markets and Luka?

The Clippers and Mavs have a game on NBATV too. I don't know if the Lakers and Suns will have one that's not on ESPN, ABC or TNT but from what we have in front of us, this just seems like another overreaction by you guys. You got a small market complex.

Luka and the Clips got a game on NBA tv as well. I think the problem is the Knicks. Theyre always gonna get high exposure.

I am at a point this year where I have zero expectations of the Blazers. They could win, they could lose, I'd believe both. They could get swept in the 1st round, they could make the WCF. The team has been a total roller-coaster ride this season, Dame and the team is saying all the same shit they say every year (underdog, special feeling about this year, no one believes in us, yadda yadda). Too many similar seasons where the team lands a somewhat respectable 5th-7th seed in the playoffs after an injury-plagued year, and either flames out or sometimes claws to the 2nd round. I'm really done putting emotional currency into this franchise. If they win, great, if they lose, big deal. It sucks that I'm there in my fandom of this team, but it is what it is.

Surprising that this series and the Mavs/Clippers series got the NBA TV treatment. These are probably going to be two of the more competitive series. There's star power on every team. Hell, the Clippers are in LA.

I just read a post by a guy who says the teams should be matched up in the first round by being able to pick their opponent starting with the #1 seed and so on through the #4, which would get the team that is left out of the top 8 by default. He says it would stop the tanking bullshit that the Clippers pulled off in order to avoid the Blazers and get the Mavs. I tend to think he is right Anyone have any opinion as to why it would not work, if the league were truly interested in integrity and encouraging teams to win and not tank. There would be no incentive to tank under the system and nothing would be lost, in my opinion. But, I wonder what any of you might see as a problem with this idea.

I have heard that idea thrown around before informally. I like it. Tanking games are a waste of everyone's time. Every game has to have something worth winning for.
