Why doesn't the corner guy ever DIVE? There's a lane there, and they're wide open since their defender is helping all the way over. When shots aren't falling, dive baseline from the corner.

Because that's logic and common sense Stotts has taken out of the heads of the players.

sigh, Ed... if imma stick up for you please hit the FT's

I'm sorry but Zach can't shoot 3s. Post him or nothing. He's a rookie, but seriously, he need to make thoose open 3s

Same ol' shit that everyone figured out long ago: shut down Dame and force the rest of the team to beat you.

It works. And Stotts has never had an answer for it.

Well actually it is the other way around. His A/M tells you to pressure him, he will take the shitty shot rather than find the open man.

Welp, on the bright side, this should hopefully end the Stotts era.

Why the switch of Napier onto Mirotic when there was no need? The team takes on the personality from the top and I'm seeing more Stotts than Dame tonight.

Pat - fire.
Collins - fire.
CJ - horrendous
Dame - mostly horrendous
Napier - fire ish

Well we showed some effort at the end their. If we take that over to the 4th we have a shot. Pelicans hit some HARD shots in the 3rd that there is nothing you can do about but they wont hit those all series long.

I'm emotional and pissed off at this game and even then, I can still see things that should be obvious to Stotts.

We don't have enough SCREENS with a player going TOWARDS the RIM.

We don't have enough CUTS TO THE RIM.

Screen towards rim.
Cut to the rim.

Simple.

Napier is playing really good and smart.

But even when we start scoring, defense get worse.

What happened to our D that quarter? 12 is doable, but it will take a complete turnaround from how we have been playing.

Nope. Olshey will call this season a HUGE SUCCESS as we extending our playoff birth streak and we won the division.

What's sad is that I feel like Olshey views that as good enough.
