Me too, cause that was a total embarrassment. Came out flat, and it's amazing they were able to get back in it. I think if the Blazers play defense like they did in the 4th, they can dominate from here out, but that's what it is going to take. This was a super poor showing.

Exactly--this is our first time playing with home court. It comes with different expectations. We are the youngest team in the playoffs again.
 
The playoffs always expose every team to what they really are, with this team who we are is a little better than mediocre if a team takes out Dame and CJ.
 
When your prime ball handler takes way more shots that anyone else on the team, only gets one assist for every 2.5 missed shots while shooting 26% from the field, you have an extremely piss poor coach.
 
Terrible game where every player on the team managed to have an off night
 
Guys what are the effects of taking two pills of melatonin when it recommends one? I'm a big dude so I should be fine but I'm not trying to fuck myself up but I need to go to sleep.

I'll blame Party a bit. If he uses his 47" very to dunk that, he's at the ft line with a chance to tie. instead? Pussyfooting. that's a playoff play (or non play) right there.

I blame Stotts a ton for all the reasons mentioned.

NoP couldn't get 100 on us missing Moe and with our guards playing poorly. I'm not worried yet, but this just got way more interesting...
 
We had the steal with a minute to go and CJ turns it over...Dame had a shot in the lane and tried to get a foul instead. We had our chances even before the stupid last plays, ball in our guards hands, and couldn't get it done. Frustrating. I'm amazed at the raw emotions I feel watching these games. I think it's not healthy.
 
I'd like to think that this game makes me believe in the we can win in 7 theory but honestly I'm leaning the other way. Im worried this is going to fuck with our confidence in game 2 and then we are really fucked.

You can say the same thing about EVERY team in the league if you take out their best two players.

I get it. I want to give Terry the benefit of the doubt, but Meyers Leonard. Brutal. You don't put a slow twitch big man in at that key of a time. Makes zero sense. Majority of team played poorly tonight. Dame had a poor game. Once in awhile it would be nice for someone to have HIS back. Buffoonery tonight.

Whelp, I wont be seeing Game 2 or 3 (Well, maybe 3 if I can get my shift changed) ... we better fuckin win game 2.
 
I am very quietly fuming at my computer while my wife is talking to her friend on skype and not understanding why i'm so pissed. This isn't going ot be an easy loss to walk off.

Pretty much. Except for real contenders or teams with higher level stars who are unguardable.

Dame is supposed be a star. Hes supposed to elevate himself above the defense. Other stars can do that.
