Who has been the most disappointing team in the 2015 Playoffs thus far?

I do like that the Oregon Lottery has a lesbian couple in their Scratch it commercial.

This lead is really like 20 when you play the Grizz. That's the thing that hurts. If you were down say 5-7 points is one thing but the grit and grind style is too punishing for us to overcome.

Memphis is way out of our league on the defensive end. I wish we could play some team defense like that. I saw glimpses at times during the season.

19+ point swings in the first half of both games?

I can't believe in 2 games not that memphis is shooting better from 3 then we are. We need to hit some 3's to open up the paint.

That would require us to pass the ball more than once without Memphis stealing the ball.

Maybe we should roll with Frazier in the 2nd half? Lillard is playimg Rudy bad.

Were seeing a lack of movement on the offense end and a lot more hero ball or just kind of standin garound with our hands in our pants until we have to rush a shot with little to no time left on the clock.

So what is our game plan for this series? I just see us letting Memphis do what they want while we just randomly throw up crappy shots.

Halftime Thoughts:
- Great start, especially on defense ... Saw some adjustments made that forced Memphis out to the 3-point line
- Memphis is 5-8 from 3 ... that's just fucking bad luck. Those guys aren't really known as shooters, but are knocking them down. Shit happens.
- Fucking Beno. Steve Blake really needs to never play in this series, because Beno just eats him up.
- Our shot selection went to hell in the second quarter ... One pass, contested jumper.
- RoLo has been our MVP ... Tough D on Gasol, great boxouts on Lillard drives, let's look for him a little more
- If they are going to send the double from the baseline, then we need to adjust. SOMEONE IS OPEN!
- Memphis really isn't *that* good, but it feels like they know they can beat us 10 out of 10 times and their confidence is through the roof. We need a minor miracle here in the second half.

I am so confused with Lillard. He simply can not shoot anymore and I just don't understand why... I thought it was because hes rushing shots, but now I don't know.... Something mental in his head? So confused.

No, that can't be - there's nothing wrong with our offense. It's purely a personnel problem - without Dame we'd be winning [/sarcasm]

Well Memphis plays defense like its 1997; if we played against them every day we'd know what to do. Right now only Memphis has played against Memphis every day (in practice)...

When your offense is predicated on players making decisions, who is to blame for bad decisions?

So is Terry waiting until Game 3 to put Nic on Conley?

It would be one thing if we played well and lost but this is painful.

We're not doing that bad. If Lillard and McCollum could make some shots it would be real close. I do get bitchy though when the team is behind. I'm wondering if we have another coaching situation where there is too much control. Are the rules on defense too rigid so that the players can never just react to a situation, like Memphis does? Even that countdown of the last five seconds everytime; not only is it giving the signal to Memphis to close in for the steal; but over the long run it means the players never develope an internal clock.

The coach, for not realizing he doesn't have (m)any players who are good at making quick decisions. Not to mention, that's a huge cop out akin to Nate "Need To Hit Shots" McMillan.

Conley eating Dame's lunch. This is just pathetic.

Mind you he's playing with what he calls stepping on golf balls. Imagine if he was healthy

Is Lillard really going to cost us a max slot? I have a feeling negotiations will be super ugly

Guys, we're only down 11 at the half. Plenty of time left ... Fuck, you know it's bad when I'm trying to act as the voice of reason :breakdance:

I expect Lillard to come out with force in the second half. We got this Mario Van People's!!!!

We miss Wes so much. We have zero intensity on defense, and no one to hit big shots on offense when Aldridge or Dame get doubled. We could use his ability to post up too. We look like we have no heart on top of no plan. Fuck. We're basically going to need some unconscious shooting.

Exactly his... We want them to take those 3s. Once it stops falling, we will have em right where we want em
