We've dominated home court all year and split the road so I think tonight is the spark

Well, thanks a lot for reversing the reverse jinx!
Since you are the swami of the jinx and reverse jinx, is there a way to reverse reverse the reverse?

Maybe we need a shadow game thread, where every post is the reverse.

The Blazers are not going to come out tonight anxious and rattled like they did in game 1. That alone gives us a chance.

So the Blazers lost game 1. Big deal.

No one thought we were going to sweep them, and we only have to win 1 of 4 road games, and win our home court, to steal the series.

Now that we have the jitters out of the way, I expect a much more focused and efficient effort tonight.

I can't wait.

This is pretty much how I feel. Aside from the fact that we obviously have to play better to win we werent going to sweep and we only have to win one on the road. If the lose the other road games by 50 it doesnt really matter. For example, if we had won game one and got blown out in game 2 would people really have cared as much? #justwinoneroadgame

Thanks ..so I'll go with my original projection of Blazers in 6 and still win it at home

That's why I predicted the Blazers in 6. I have good tickets and want to see them win the series in person. I missed out on Lillard's heroic shot to win Game 6 in Portland last year and didn't want to be left out two years in a row.

I just realized the last time I attended a Game 6 in Portland was the Dallas series back in 2003 when we beat them 125-103, forcing a Game 7 after going down 3 games to none. In that game (and Game 7, too), Sabonis was superb. He scored 16 points on 7-8 shooting and grabbed 8 rebounds in only 12 minutes. Man, I wish we had Sabonis now. He'd be the perfect big man to do battle with Marc Gasol.

i feel your pain, i had just flown into portland to rescue my car from impound and i decided to drive back quickly to get back to work rather than wait around 2 days for the game. I witnessed .9 in an Ogden hotel rather than live. I regret that decision, even though it was cool to be at lillard's college town when he shot it.

Not having Kaman hurts. But not so much that I think we are doomed tonight.

Kaman injured his ankle fooling around on Wes' scooter.

I hope that green font is appropriate.

It's a wrap. He was one of the only decent guys that played well game 1..

With all these injuries, Lillard falling off, teammates saying LMA has a 50-50 chance of leaving, this is by far top 10 worst seasons as a fan I've endured.

All we need is for Meyers and Freeland . . . and CJ . . . and Crabbe to step up.

Seriously, there is a great opportunity for anyone ready to take it.

i have a strange feeling joel is going to fight some show boating bitch tonight

Dont tease me like that. Memphis was getting a bit cocky in game one and if they keep that up Joel is just the guy I would love to see do it.

Damn Affalo has no heart. Clearly he could care less. I seen the video of him dribbling and shooting the guy looks perfectly fine he's just bitching about a little left over pain he has..

I wish Wes would just slap the shit out of him

Actually I completely disagree. We need to come out with purpose and execution. If we are stumbling out the gate, then Stotts and the team came out with a piss poor preparation. Its time our team dictates our game, not Memphis's
