Why? They won one game, we won one game. No reason we can't win the next two.
If game two would have been hard fought and a competitive loss I would absolutely agree with you. But the way they were completely destroyed tells me the Blazers are done.
I doubt they will win another game.
Just the way I see it. Love my Blazers and of course I’m pulling for them but this Lakers team is way too much for the Blazers.

Sadly, game 1 was clearly a wakeup call for the Lakers. I'm not sure game 2 was the same for Portland. It might have been the straw that broke the camels back.

I think 4-1 is very possible. That was my prediction to start the series just based of talent/injuries. What was your prediction prior to the series?

Thank you!! They’ve locked us up since that 1st quarter of game 1.. we won’t win another game..

Their defense is top 5 for a reason. Feast or famine offenses don’t work in the playoffs

Locked us up or Clamped?

Thank god now when we lose this series we can use the excuse dame has a dislocated finger

this series isn’t gonna be close

So can the Blazers get 15 more points this quarter to at least hit 80? With this unit I am guessing no. Lakers wanted it more tonight then any Blazer did. Outplayed but mostly out hustled.
Just got 80 for ya.

I said sweep. But 4-1 is close enough

Would it be legal for us to give a Euro club enough money so they could offer Hezonja enough that he would decline his option with us?

No predictions for me. I take it one game at a time.

It’s the way they were dominated by the entire Laker team. LeBron didn’t even have to work hard to win this.

Melo was 1/6, 2 points 0 rebounds 0 assists in 27 minutes.

Why is this worse? Getting beat by 40 in an elimination game vs 30 in a series you're leading.

Because it's against the Lakers

You were the one who said we'd play bad in restart because of our play in the scrimmages. Well, we then won 8 of our next 10 games. Blowouts happen in the playoffs. Jordan got blown out during his title runs. It happens. The series is tied 1-1. This Lakers team has two players and that's it. We've shown we can beat them once. No reason we can't win again. As it was said, we got blown out in Game 5 vs Nuggets and then bounced back with two wins to win the series. There are a zillion examples of this.

It's definitely a sign that Olshey was a fucking idiot for not filling this roster before the bubble. We could have had two more players on this roster, probably good veterans who have played in the league and had played a lot lately in Europe or young D-Leaguers who we could be looking at for min spots next season. No fucking clue why we wouldn't use those roster spots.

I'm almost always willing to jump on the Olshey is an idiot wagon, but I don't know who was available that would have helped?

Only counts as one win. Can they dominate us three times more? I doubt it. We have the better overall roster.

I think their roster is way better than ours. Way better.

well, the only to go is up from here

I like to jump Olshey's crap as well, but I'm not even certain Jodi was willing to open the pocket book even if there were somebody to add. Not to mention, the odds of us making the playoffs were not very high.

Lillards line was hardly better.
The fuck? It was MUCH better. I hate people who quit on their team after one playoff loss. If it's a blowout, they say it's over. If it's a close game, they say we blew our chance. LOSSES HAPPEN IN THE PLAYOFFS. Just gotta bounce back and win the next one.

This game was much worse than just a bad loss. Sorry I don’t share your enthusiasm. Let’s see what happens Saturday. If they can play well and win one I’ll tell you that you were right.

Rough night, hang in there everyone... As crappy as tonight was, I'm so glad we're watching the Blazers in the playoffs right now! Much better than discussing who we want with the 13th pick!
