PLAYOFF SERIES NOTES
• This will be the second meeting between the Trail Blazers and Warriors in the NBA Playoffs. Golden State defeated the Trail Blazers last year, 3-1, in the Western Conference Semifinals.

• Since Portland became a franchise in 1970, Portland has made the playoffs 33 times, while Golden State has qualified 17 times. The Two teams have both reached the playoffs in all 17 of those seasons.

• Despite losing the series, 4-1, the Trail Blazers led for 137 of the 232 minutes played in the Western Conference Semifinals.

• Damian Lillard averaged 31.8 points (43.1% 3-PT) and 7.6 assists against the Warriors in the 2016 Western Conference Semifinals. Lillard recorded two games of 30+ points and 10+ assists, and his 40 points in the Blazers’ lone victory represent his playoff career high.

• In two games (one start) against the Trail Blazers in the 2016 Western Conference Semifinals, Stephen Curry averaged 34.5 points, 9.5 assists and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 50.0% from the field (37.0% 3-PT).

• Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 31.0 points per game (28-56 3-PT, 50.0%) against Portland in the Western Conference Semifinals last year.

Sick photoshop of the lineups!

It was a tough choice for me between Nurkic and Turner on the poll question. I went with Nurk just because his spin moves are quick for a big man. Turner seems like he's the one who's most comfortable/in control off of a spin. McCollum would be third.

Not a tough choice. Turner always gets blocked when he goes for the spinna

Can someone please remind me to turn off my alerts before this game starts? You guys about blew up my phone during the last game. Thanks.

I picked other. Olshey is clearly the Blazers' king of spin.

It's a minor miracle that Turner doesn't Turner-over the ball every time he dribbles inside the 3-point arc. Harkless has the best spin on the team. Granted, it's usually not off the dribble, but when he catches a pass deep in the post you can pretty much count on that quick spin of his tallying 2 points.

That was my thought as well. He's quick with the spin if he is in the paint and it usually results in points.

Nurkic better play

At what point does Draymond Greens "celebrating" become taunting worthy of a technical foul?

Generally when it's directly aimed at an opposing player. Flexing/screaming = okay. Getting in someone's face and pointing at them = probably a technical foul.

When Mutombo used to shake his finger at someone who's shot he blocked, it drew technical fouls. So he changed it to shake his finger generally at the crowd.

The way they stepped up in the 4th indicates we need Nurk. Nurk Now. If NOT, Turner, Harkless and Crabbe have to score and Vonleh needs to answer DG's defensive efforts.

Hold them out so they can hopefully be closer to 100% on Saturday - that's our best chance to win a game. Get Pat some good minutes in G2, then come out swinging G3 with:

Dame
CJ
Hark
Vonleh
Nurk

Crabbe
Turner
Pat
