Definitely seemed like their starting lineup took a hit with him, but I wonder how his absence will impact the rest of their rotation. Will more minutes for Looney and/or Bogut also be a detriment to them? I honestly have no idea.
C’mon you know better. That team is better with him available against certain lineups. Loony is limited and Bogut will not carry them to a championship. They are by far the most talented team in the league still but losing Cousins did not help them. Kerr would not have had him on the court if he was a detriment.

It seems intuitive that a player with his talent would make a great team better, but the stats over the course of the season seem to defy that notion. I'm not going to dogmatically claim either position; I'm perfectly comfortable saying that I don't know if he actually hurt them or not.

I guess my point is more about if he hurts the opposition. I’m sure there are teams he would play better against. Specifically the Blazers would be one of them.
Not sure he would match well against the Thunder?

Interesting - Blazers were listed as 3 point favorites in Game 1 but only 2 point favorite in Game 2? So after beating OKC once they are now consider less likely to win?

Glad I'm not a gambler. Considering odds on Philly, GSW, Toronto, Denver....

Blazers gonna win big tonight! If we’re gettin 20/18ish from Kanter every night, this series will be over soon. Who knows how George will play? We’ll see.
Well considering he is injured and shot horribly, yet still got 26/10/4...... I think it's safe to say he will have a good game.

Recently in a poll NBA players voted Scott Foster their "least liked" citing he won't listen.
Personally, Tyler Ford is on my list.
There are statistics that home teams lose more games with Scott Foster officiating the game. I'm concerned right now

I feel as if GS is better without Cousins on the court. He changes how they play defense... and not in a good way. Not great vs PNR and gets beat to often down low. Only hole for GSW is their bench.

I hope for major improvement from Collins and Hood, more minutes and ball for Seth if dame/cj are not hitting 3s.
Dame ended with great numbers but his second and third quarters weren't up to his standards. I would look for Dame to go off. CJ keep doing what he does: score and create looks for others when he cant.

I think more minutes for Looney will be beneficial for Golden State. He's not anywhere near as talented offensively as Cousins, but he's much better in their switching defense--he's competent when switching onto even good perimeter players.

Cousins made an interesting change-of-pace, but I don't think he helped them get to their best form.

Colin Cowherd just said on his show that he's going to bet BIG money on the Thunder to win tonight. Basically thinks it's a lock, that OKC is clearly the better team, that the Blazers win Sunday was a fluke, etc.

Colin is weirdo.

I think the Blazers go down big early but have a huge 3rd quarter and eek out a last minute win on a huge shot by Rodney Hood.

I can see why he would say it. I have a bad feeling about this game too. Games between teams who are evenly matched often go to the team playing with the most urgency. Portland better play like they are down a game not up a game.

If OKC wins tonight I can see them winning 3 in a row before Portland comes back in game 5.
Then game 6 will be a slug fest. Got to stay close early tonight and win it late.

We got this game...Go Blazers! Fuck the Thunder and all their bandwagon fans in the media! We beat them playing only half a good game in game one...we can beat them for a whole game...this series will resemble 2016-17 OKC matchup...SWEEP!

It's down to 1 point. A lot of money going on OKC.

I kind of see it different.
The Thunder has been slow starters all season. They make late game runs. But lets hope you got the ending right.
