Why? OKC should be favorite in their home in a must win game against a team whose fans thought they would be swept by OKC before the series started. So far, we did what we should. Now it is their turn. I would be very happy if we get one of the two. The hope is that Portland has been really good at away games after All Star break. This could very well be a blowout win for either team (OKC win more likely) But, I expect the game to be close and that would actually help us as the mental load of a close game would take a toll on Westbrook and OKC.

Not sure how, but I do know the guy who sits next to me at games figured out howto pop the back open and turn the lights on until the battery runs out. He texted me a pic of his 4 year old running around the house with it on and flashing.

7.5 points is what I find confusing (as you say that you expect the game to be close; 7.5 isn't close by betting standards). Furthermore, we, as the 3 seed, were mere 3.5 and 1 point favorites in Games 1 and 2, respectively. See? Perplexing...

But seriously though, if synchronizing 1,000s of things interests you you should check out the art of Cai Guo-Qiang. This isn't a very good video, but there's an excellent doc about him on NF.

I haven't seen it in any other NBA arena. Looks so damn cool. I'd be mesmerized if were on the OKC bench looking at that.

Baffling. Surprised there isn't more action on POR to balance this out.

538 says the same thing. OKC is a 7 point favorite in both games this weekend while the games in POR were both a pickem.
 
Portland needs game 3 cause i am afraid if you give OKC hope by a win tonight they are back in the series so tonight the Blazers have to come out and step on OKC throat and break there spirit and pretty much assure the team a spot in the 2nd round. Tonight will tell us if this team has what it takes to make a real run cause a vet team with good leadership from the coaches to the last player on the bench will realize what i said above but a inexperienced team will just be happy with what they got let up on the throttle and let OKC back in the series and maybe even lose the series.

I think we will know by the end of the 1st Quarter what team showed up not by the score but by the little things - hustle and how they are running plays cause if OKC gets hot with Hands in there faces then nothing you can do about that really

I agree but disagree. The end of the first quarter didnt mean squat in game two as to the outcome.

NO. I agree with you that we need to take game three or they will feel right back in the series.
I disagree that game three will be answered by the end of the first quarter and I referenced game two as evidence.

I was told not to move the bracelets because each one was programmed to a specific seat. The only bummer is they only worked in the arena.

The crowd seemed weak though, huh?
 
Blazers need to come out like it's game 7 and punch OKC in the mouth.

OKC is going to do the same.

Game threes can turn a series.

This will probably get chippy, folks.

Well, prior to Game 1 most people thought we would lose the series to OKC and they came as the team that beat us 4 times (twice at Portland). The fact that we were 3.5 points favorite was quite respectful based on those and after a very close finish despite horrible finish by OKC scorers justified a -1 for the second game.

I would personally put OKC at -4 or so but I am biased. I don't bet on sports but I have serious respect on those line setters. They know what they are doing more often than not.
