Vegas lines are based on action for each side. In a perfect world for sportsbooks they would take even money on both sides and simply make money on the juice for every game.

I said this before game 1. Vegas almost seemed like they were baiting people into taking OKC or thinking that was a good bet. Most of the money in both games came in on OKC.

This line is weird though. It's almost as if they're now baiting people to take Portland. I don't think a lot of people would take OKC to win by 8 or more here so maybe Vegas thinks this will be a blowout tonight.

Perhaps Vegas thinks it just needs to be a really sweet line for anyone in America to actually bet on Portland because they all hate us.

I'd still probably consider giving the points, considering personnel, location, and situation. A double-digit loss wouldn't shock me.

To hell with just taking a game....SWEEP BABY!!!!!!!!! Get our guys a break before the 2nd round....keep the momentum..embarrass OKC in their house...we're already in Russ' head....let's give him a migrane! Go Blazers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only the MVP lobbyists for PG are begging for a long series here...I want to finish them off pronto!

I agree it's possible that they blow us out tonight, but the way the Thunder have played in this series and since the All-Star break I certainly wouldn't bet money that they cover that big of a spread.

I'm skipping everything today. I'm currently living in a trailer on an island in the wilderness, so it's not too tough. But still.

You get good reception way out there?

Currently have 70 mph winds completely rocking my trailer. It's crazy out here.

If they think the Blazers players are going to have a letdown, they are in for a letdown.

If they think OKC is going to significantly improve their play vis-a-vis the Blazers, because OKC's back is against the wall, it's possible.

But I wouldn't bet on it.

My wife and I were cast to film an ad for Oregon tourism Association this morn...got wined and dined at a fine French Restaurant ...got to take home some great food as well...had to fake drinking the champagne..wife enjoyed it. Supposed to show up on Hulu and Netflix ads as well as TV stations...our daughter in law produced the ad
