Trent should be getting tons of open looks off the traps yet he just that and one and all game until the end

I thought the Lakers did a nice job of deciding they were going to stay on Trent and use their length to make Wenyen/Whiteside make plays. The luxury of their length and depth.

Because stotts sucks. How many coaches in NBA are still coaching 8 years deep?? I hate stots. He is like Jason Garrett of cowboys. Can not make adjustments to safe his life. Nurkic stinks and he keeps playing him

Free Throws Attempted:
Blazers 19
Lakers 43

Wow. These games against the Lakers are hard to watch.

Lakers arent going to get that many against other teams, so they better enjoy it while they can

We're still in this series but we have to play with a lot more effort. Getting out rebounded like this is just pathetic. We obviously have to shoot better and I think we will but we have to show more desire to win these games if we want to have a chance.
Personally, i didn't think lack of desire was a problem tonight.

Lakers aren’t even that impressive. I think any playoff team in the west would love to face them. They are so lucky they are playing us

You don't think the Lakers are more talented, have greater experience, more length, significantly more depth? They're as good or better than us 1-2, 4-12 in my opinion.

I think you're agreeing with me?

Couldn't watch the game but saw a MASSIVE FT discrepancy.

Was it that bad?

They got some 50/50 calls early, but our inability to put anyone on LeBron or AD put us in scramble mode. After that, we either would foul or give up a rebound because we were out of position.

We played 6 guys essentially

This was my takeaway as well. We got ground down because the main guys basically have to play every minute.

Our depth, or lack thereof, let this team down. Just got blitzed in every minute we played with Mario/Simons/Wenyen and the guys were too tired at the end.

I am very angry. I will forever root for any oponent of Lakers. Despite all weakness on our side, but when
you play against Lakers, you play against refs as well. I hate PG, Pat Bev, and Westbrick., really hate, but i swear i will root for them against Lakers.

Blazers need profesional help at half time, prior 3rd qtr.

Also need: Keep as starters only starting backourt. Fire: Stotts, Melo, Simmons, Collins, Hezonja, Whiteside, Gabriel.

Keep as bench players: Trent, Ariza, Nurk (yes unfortunately, sorry Nurk you are my Bosnian, but you are not Gobert) and Hood.

Get some real, real nba level on positions 3, 4, 5 who can play on both ends, equally deffense and offense.. Until that, no hope and time of Dames prime is running slowly. Must do it asap.

I am very angry. Maybe tommorow i will denied my self.

Couldn’t we have added 1 or 2 more bodies for the bubble? Could use them right now

Yes. I suspect we didn't for one or more of the following reasons:

1) We weren't thinking about making any real playoff push
2) Jodi doesn't want to spend extra money
3) The available players were more interested in playing for contenders
