Besides this one, which series is the most compelling?

Ok, maybe you're right. But that wasn't the point. The point was they're beatable if we believe in ourselves. If we explain to ourselves why even Javale McGee is a great Center then might as well call it a series.

Well, I don't think McGee is a great center (he plays limited minutes for a reason), I just don't think Golden State is as weak at center as people are suggesting. I think Portland has tons of work to do to get to Golden State's level--that's not a huge knock, most teams are in the same boat. I think with Nurkic, Portland could be a 4 seed. They need a further infusion of talent (more along the lines of good complementary players) to really have a decent chance to beat the Warriors in a series, IMO.

If we show up to play, not according to the per36 stats or the PER but make it on who has the biggest heart, who wants it more, then we have a chance. In per36 stats McGee already won

This isn't space jam.

Yes but at some point you need to go to war with what you have. What moves to make in the summer, what's our window and how we can get better, these are all important questions but not when you're in a win or go home mode.
I don't think we're realistic contenders, we can find many reasons why we don't stand a chance against the Warriors. But at some point you just take the floor and do your hardest, outhustle, fight harder, play each possesion, stay focused and try to make something happen.
If we do that and lose I would tip my hat to the Warriors, but heading to game 3 at home, down 2-0, you just have to play your heart out, give all you have, that's what I'm expecting. I would accept it if we lose but I wouldn't accept anything less than 100% from everyone on the team

This is all we need.

Box score shows Layman was 1-1 from the field. I saw him miss 3 or 4 shots. One that comes to mind is a left handed flip shot from about 5 feet that missed everything.
Don't know about the rest, but Pat missed a shot exactly like that near the end. (At least, I thought it was Pat?)

Ezeli is more Leonard than McGee.

Ezeli destroyed us last year in the playoffs in a very similar fashion that McGee crushed us last night. And this was with the Plumber and Big Ed playing as well.

Our problem has always been size, but not just size, size that can actually play the game.

I wish we could yell a math problem at McGee or something as he got the ball.

Maybe all this time, Butters has been getting credited for all of their misses, and he is really shooting over 50%???

I5 south in the Moda Center area will be closed on Saturday. Traffic for those going to the game is gonna be crazy.

PORTLAND, Ore. (April 21, 2017) Portland Trail Blazers fans attending Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs on Saturday and guests attending The xx on Sunday should be advised that I-5 South will be closed from April 22nd-23rd. The Rose Quarter I-5 South ramp to I-84 East will open only from 9:30-11:30 p.m. following Saturday’s game. All I-5 Southbound lanes will be closed following The xx on Sunday.

Upon arriving at the Rose Quarter, guests will be given a map with details to avoid the shutdown (see attached).

The Rose Quarter will feature several food and beverage options readily available for fans arriving early. Dr. Jack’s opens at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday, while the Pyramid Taproom will open its doors at 4:30 p.m on Saturday (closed Sunday).

The following are additional suggestions for managing travel to events held at the Rose Quarter:

  • Consider Alternative Transportation – With added capacity on busy event nights, MAX Light Rail and TriMet bus service frequently travel through the Rose Quarter transit center. For schedules, fares and route information, visitwww.trimet.org.Due to large game-night crowds, please allow extra time for your transit choice.
  • Bicycle Access to Rose Quarter – With 30 racks and capacity to secure 300 bicycles, Rose Quarter guests are welcome to ride bicycles to the venue.
  • Pedestrian Foot Traffic – With some of Portland’s most accessible and progressive neighborhoods located nearby, guests are welcome to walk to Rose Quarter events.
  • Parking Garages and Surface Lots – Parking Garages and parking facilities adjacent to the Rose Quarter will be available for a parking charge. Due to limited spaces, guests are encouraged to consider alternative transportation means or carpool. When choosing any Rose Quarter parking option, guests are reminded to remove or store valuables out of sight, and lock their vehicles.

CJ mentioned me!

"We’ve got those pinwheel-tattooed, bleeding-red-and-black, still-rocking-that-Walton-jersey, ride-or-die, realer-than-real hoops fans in Portland. The love is real. The support is real."

You actually have a Blazers tattoo??? Bro, if you aren't the biggest homer on earth!
