Look bones. I understand you think you know all about everything on every game but just for a second try to look at things from another perspective.
Harkless has made huge plays this series. He has drawn one of the toughest assignments in the Playoffs on any team. If you want to try and look at two or three times in one game that he either got turned around or was not in the right position then that's the way you want to see it. Picking a guy apart for a couple mental lapses does not make you look smart or like some basketball guru.
Bottom line Maurice Harkless has been just what this team has needed to this point in this series. I stand by my statement. Harkless has been playing stellar defense no question.
Why tf is this needed? Because I think hes had some stellar defense mixed in with a few very bad defensive plays? I'm literally pointing out 2 of them. That'll come out in my recap soon. Why would that make me a "guru"? Wtf are you talking about?

But I can use the same random argument style too - I know you think you know everything, but thinking Harkless played good D doesnt make you a "guru". See how annoying that is?

I literally cant say hes had a couple random very bad defensive possessions to go along with mostly stellar defense without you claiming I think I'm a "guru" because of it? Cool.

I dont think Bones was saying he hasnt played stellar defense, and been very good this series. He’s just pointing out there have been some bad plays too. Moe did give up a 4 point play to george because he almost acted surprised they passed it to him and wasnt attached (or even close), he’s missed a rotation or two as well.

Harkless has still played very good defense and had an overall good series (especially on defense).
I literally said "He has been most of the time". You cant win with some people...

Moe gave up that 4 point play because he was messing with his shoe during live action. Completely left his guy wide open under the basket in the same quarter. Both will be in my recap. Apparently me pointing that out means I think whatever KJ wants me to think.

It just hit me in the Dame era (post LMA) have we won a road playoff game? I’m thinking maybe 1 in the clippers series but is it atleast 2?

Btw fuck PG and his fake shoulder injury his shit seemed perfectly fine when he did that disrespectful dunk at the end

Lol, the angry actor guy put me on ignore because he cant stop arguing everything I say. Funny.

Dif he really ??? Does that mean we don't have to read you guys pointless arguments that goes on for dozens of pages in every other thread anymore ??? Oh my god ! This is way more thrilling than going to the second round !!!

Don’t worry.... Bones can find plenty of other posters to have pointless petty arguments with.

My original comment stands. Harkless has been playing stellar defense this series.
I also don’t need you to try to explain or interpret his posts to me. But thanks I appreciate your response.

I agreed with you man. Just weirdly sprinkled in with very random very bad plays. Things arent black and white.

I'll timestamp the video. Maybe you can tell me how it's not bad defense.

Well the way you interpreted it seemed different than the way I did. So I was saying how I interpreted it, but ok...

I find that PG seems to attack Aminu way more than Harkless. When he see’s Aminu he always puts the ball on the floor and goes after him, seems like with Harkless he is more hesitant to try to take him 1v1. Am I dreaming that? Has anyone else noticed it?
He tried to attack MO but MO kept blocking his shot and Aminu is not that great shot blocker.

Every team and player has lapses and streaks. Sometimes though, the timing of those is crucial. Sometimes it is irreverent to the outcome. Sometimes it can cause a 3-5 point swing in a matter of moments. If a player shows losing focus and the outcome is irrelivent, he should still be yanked, because its only sa matter of time before it will cost.
When to stay focused is as much a factor to Defense as anything else and only a team that knows each other very well can afford to do this without consequences because they know the other player will make up for it at the moment. But to get into that standard is very dangerous. Better to NOT think your teammate has your back and just say focused.
In years past, great teams' coaches yank a player immediately if it seems his focus is waining. I think it led to a better defensive league.

Is it me our are there far fewer hammer coaches in today's NBA?

Here's a controversial question for game 4....should we actually start Meyers and bring Enes off the bench...let Meyers get the early fouls?

They will go straight to Adams

Tyler Ford, that asshole who stepped over Nurkic's foot is one of the refs tonight

THAT MOTHERFUCKER!!! How dare he be allowed to ref the Blazers after what he did. Especially in the playoffs.

they already are and Meyers is as good defending him as Enes is..and Enes will own the second unit scoring

As long as Meyers doesn't step several feet off Adams. Needs to be on him like a fly on shit...no space
