He woke up and ate the same breakfast he always does on Trail Blazers game days: A waffle. Two pats of butter. Syrup. Three eggs scrambled with red onions, green onions, turkey, pepper jack cheese and half of an avocado. All washed down with a bottled water and a vitamin pack.
Later in the day, after shootaround, he played an hour of video games. Had a veggie drink, a bottled water and one protein bar. And right before an afternoon nap, he always has a banana with another bottled water.
Then before he leaves for the Moda Center, he does break from his pattern: He eats three scrambled eggs with cheese, one chicken apple sausage and three packets of oatmeal with brown sugar.
