Dame's shot was HUGE, but boy did OKC have to have a MASSIVE melt down to give the Blazers a chance. Up 8, with just over 2 minutes to go:

Westbrook doesn't run down the clock and shoots a 21' jumper with tons of time left.
Next possession, Paul misses 2 FT's
Next possession, Westbrook again doesn't run down the clock and gets an offensive foul with 12 seconds left on the shot clock.
Next possession, Westbrook AGAIN doesn't run down the clock and attacks the basket with 12 seconds left. He is cut off and Grant forces up a hurried shot that is way off and Portland gets FT's on the loose ball foul. Mo' hits 2 FT's with the clock stopped.
George turnover....again, attacking the basket with 15 seconds left on the clock. (CJ hits jumper...tie game)
Finally they run a decent play and George hits a FT-line jumper. (OKC up 2)

OKC wasted 5 possessions in a row by either not running clock or getting a turnover and in some cases, compounded it by fouling and giving Portland points with the clock stopped.

who has the update on Kanter? I am thinking Nards will get major minutes and have a very hard time with Jock-itch (no offense to meyers, everyone has a hard time with him). I would expect Skal to get some reps too, lets see what he can do when the matchups are there.

I hated what SVG said when he said it. I don't think for a minute that they were scared to see OKC in the playoffs that was just such utter nonsense they weren't trying to lose to avoid OKC they were resting their players because they had already clinched HCA and didn't care. I laughed and rolled my eyes when I heard that, he obviously wasn't paying attention to Portland at all.
 
Finally seeing a cordial and candid Russ. This guy would be so much more likable if he opened up during the playoffs/season. Don't get why he needs to put on this rough persona.

Lots of "flash in the pan" type players exhibit rapid rises and falls like that. You may well be right, but it's a bad assumption.

There have been reports and knowing George's history, he's that type of muthafucka.
 
I've been in meetings like all morning. Has anyone posted PG13, WB, Adams, or Donovon's interviews yet? I know the live stream is still going.
