If Kanter can't play, whom would you want to start at the Center position for the Blazers?

I don't think Kanter will play tonight--he said he can't put on a tshirt without being in pain.

I guess our best hope then is center by committee and maybe that will throw the Joker off his rhythm. I do hope whoever he guards keeps him moving and forces him to guard the 3 pt line.

Well we got 18 fouls to try slow him down. But remember he go away from the basket to guard all 3 backup and 2 of them can take him off the dribble. All 3 has to make him guard them so they be aggressive on offensive.

Scal hasn't played outside of garbage time all year.

Now he's going to play a role in the playoffs?

Count me firmly in the "I'll be shocked" group.

Get lost kid.

Im excited! This is gravy and we have a legitimate chance to make noise in the 2nd round which I've never seen us do before!
Enjoy this! Lets hope this team gives you multiple good playoff runs over the next 4-5 years with a chip in there somewhere. Getting a good solid team working well is a bunch of fun.

AJ McCord just reported that most everyone she asked looked at he surprised when she asked if he was playing. Like "Why wouldn't he be playing?" surprised.

Kanter will be in the game tonight. How much he can give and how well he plays is another question.

I believe Enes is injured, and it hurts.
I also believe Terry Stotts is playing a little gamesmanship.
Just a little bit.
He played Game 5 with one arm, against a very powerful Steven Adams (until Billy did us a favor and took him out!) and he played a really good game.

Two things I want to see coming to this game:
Better ball movement. Assist numbers is one of the only categories where we're not near the top.
Attack the basket. Take the ball inside, don't settle for just jumpshots. Make Jokic work, make him foul, be in aggressive attack mode

I’m working, and I can’t watch the game.

I don’t know whether to keep an eye on the score updates, or to try to avoid seeing the score so I don’t know the result when I watch the replay when I get home.

Im really nervous about this series. I think Denver is deep and is a really rough matchup both roster and style wise. I picked Portland in 6 but I was much more confident about the OKC match up. I also think Malone is a better coach (with much more coachable players) than Donovan).

Someone give me a pick me up as to why this is a good matchup for us?

I can give you 37 reasons.
There's something about our team this year. Something special.
Dame told Meyers before 5he okc series they're gonna make a long run.
For the first time in.......well, a long time, I think we can actually see it happening.

I'm ready to bet that one-armed playoff Kanter is better than two-armed playoff Labissierre, especially vs. Jokic.

He IS Sam Elliot. But he is really Wade Garrett. The baddest of the badass Sams!
Sam Elliot does live in Oregon BTW. So maybe he's a Blazers fan?

He and Katharine Ross bought a property I had wished I could buy for years. (I saw it first, dammit.)

I'd tell you where, but then he'd have to kill me.

I don't think assist numbers are important. We should be able to attack Jokic constantly in pick n roll, and if Dame's able to score of those (which he should), it won't result in assist numbers. What it could result in is Jokic foul trouble, and we'd really be able to get our offense going if Dame's scoring a bunch out of pick n roll.

RH was on STARZ last night.
Watched it.
I've noticed the rotten tomato rating gets better all the time. I think its a great "guys flick"...Sam Elliott steals the show, for me.
Anyway...
Back To Blazers.

Thats hilarious because i pulled it up on vudo a week or so ago and forced the wife to watch it with me.

once in a while guys step up and find themselves in a situation like this and thrive, probably more often they do little and fade. Skals situation in Sac was pretty bad for him, he showed me more skills in that season ending garbage time game than I thought he had. He's at a stage in his career when opportunities become fewer, this IMO could be huge for him, he can see he's on a team with a great leader and environment, lets see what he does with his chance. He saw how well Kanter has done in his time here, can he step up? we will see

That was some really funny shit right there! I didn't have a clue he lived here, so hell yeah he watches the Blazers....

Hi Mr. Elliot! Glad you could join us!!!

(Just so he doesn't miss it....)
