Man what a great win today but god we can’t be fucking around like that anymore. I’m glad Dame didn’t play well and we still won but you will never see Denver all at the same time not show up like they did today. We have to step on their throats and put it to no doubt but great win!

Wow Friday with the weather being absolutely beautiful and being tied 1-1 in the 2nd round with home court is going to be lit!

I also am wondering if Turner gets suspended for Friday because he left the bench?

this was a Jekyll & Hyde game for me...it was yeah!...then it was WFT?...then it was go Hood!...then what are you thinking?...then, great shot!!...then hold onto the fucking ball!!...then great answer!...then grab a fucking rebound...then grab a fucking rebound...then Dame was fouled for the 17th time!...then grab a fucking rebound...then great shot Seth!...then grab a fucking rebound...then, that was Jokic's 6th foul...then grab a fucking rebound...then, that was Jokic's 6th foul...then grab a fucking rebound...then make your FT's!...then, I needed a drink. And that's what I'm having

yeah, there was a lot more Mr. Hyde than Dr. Jeckyll...but c'mon 23 offensive rebounds for Denver...??
LMAO

Just going to point this out.
With Portland up 15 entering the 2nd half.
The game felt super put away.

Not all games feel like that, but it did tonight.
Was odd.

That might be true but this not the first time that they didn't handle pressure well.
That might be true but we are not the only team in the NBA, we've seen it many times teams blew a big lead because they couldn't handle the pressure. For example: The Rockets were up 15 or so at Oklahoma and they blew the lead and Paul George hit a game winning shot, Rockets fall from 3rd seed to 4th, imagine being a Rockets fan over the last few weeks haha. But then i remember that i hate the Rockets and their Fans, and i cant stop laughing about their bad luck

Well the Nuggets never went on a big run, Portland answered and kept them at arms reach most of the 2nd half.

Theres a lot of ways to look at this. If you’re Denver you’re probably thinking we couldn't shoot, had a lot of rebounds and we kept it close we probably wont play worse.
Portlands probably thinking they wont win often with Dame having 14 points and not shooting well. We gave up a ton boards and still figured out how to get one on the road.

The only concern I have is Denver largely beat themselves tonight. Stotts made great adjustments, but they were missing wide open shots. We need to close out on their shooters better.

*shrugs* the game just felt over at half time to me.

If Turner is suspended and Harkless is out, we would be awfully thin.

We beat ourselves in game one with the turnovers. It happens.

We were rusty and they were aggressive. Smart strategy by Denver against a team that hadn't played in a while.

We CAN'T lose home court. Winning at altitude is rare. They're beatable on the road. Our legs were gone in the 4th at 5280. We were gassed.

Man that was like pulling teeth but I'll take it. Possibly the worst rebounding game of the year, not sure how they won.

The refs still don't respect him for some reason.
Dame gets held, clobbered and whacked without the foul being called more than any player I've ever seen. It's absolutely insane.

I'd be surprised if Harkless is available in either home game....I cringed when I saw the replay. If that would have been my ankle I'd be on crutches for a week and swallowing massive amounts of pain meds...washed down with scotch

Honestly I don't really care about how other team handled pressure because I am a Blazers so my focus how we handle the pressure and we must due better in that department.
