If the Blazers don't win the championship this year, who would you prefer to win it instead?

Why not? It's not like the fact that I would be happy if he got injured again has any influence on his getting injured. I've never understood how it's "classless". It's not like I'm wishing he dies or anything. Everyone always overreacts to people wishing someone would get injured.

Some guy here (I don't remember if you were part of it or not) acted like the Blazers should have fouled curry hard with the sole purpose of trying to injure him again. That's fucked up.

Oh yeah that's a little different I think. I don't advocate for the players trying to injure him, but I did say I hope he blows his knee out.

If Curry had stayed injured, we would have disillusioned the league that Klay Thompson is a great shooter, that other Warrior players are so good, that Draymond Green can stay out of foul trouble, that Kerr is Coach of the Year, etc.

It would be good for Curry to stay injured so that all NBA fans can discover the truth. It's a flim-flam team, flimsy cotton candy with him as the stick holding the gooey mess together.

Great game! Had me on the edge for 3 hours. I wish it could've turned out differently, but what can you do?

So? He should only score 30+ when we're going to win? What's your point? He's not trying hard enough?

Stop it - you're smarter then that.

Stats are only relevant insofar as they help the team win. If I quoted a stat like that about Harden or Westbrick, your response would be that they are just stat stuffers. Nor would you be wrong.

Someone should have fouled him hard in OT. Not to try to hurt him, but just to break his rhythm and concentration. It's what great teams like the Warriors do. Nothing easy in the playoffs.

Lillard has helped the team win. Lillard was the reason why we're the only team to beat the Warriors twice this season. Big stats, big wins.

Some of the people making these negatives comments bashing lillard and saying they hope curry gets injured, just need to go to sleep and re-evaluate things in the morning.

This team fought their asses off and left it all out there. They are young and made some mental mistakes down the stretch but they were right there with the defending champs. Lillard, CJ, and Aminu made huge shots in the 4th. Kerr drew up a great play and Barnes ( the guy we want shooting of the players on the court) hit a big time 3. In the overtime, curry showed why he is the best player in the world. Once one three goes in, it does not matter what kind of defense you play on him. What's worse he was scoring with ease even when his shot was off early. I for one hope Dame goes to work out with him in the offseason as I believe his array of finishes would add something to Dames game.

You always have to love the drive-by punks. Too bad Warriors fans don't have the class of Curry.

What class? 3rd grade? :dunno:

I think Steve Kerr should be ashamed and disgusted with how his players pranced around like a bunch of teenage girls at a Justin Bieber concert long before the game was decided.

Terry Stotts would never allow disrespect like that, but his players are too mature for it to happen despite their young ages.

The only time I recall Dame celebrating that much is the GWs against New Orleans his rookie year, Houston game 6, and the Cavs game in 2014.

Other than that he motions to his wrist on his way to the BENCH

Biggest glaring hole to me the entire season is how players can sag off of Plumlee at the top of the key. Maybe he can develop that shot to keep the defense honest. If not it would really help to have somebody who can hit that shot so that defenses cant sag off to help with the guards and wings.

Al Horford. Or better yet just bag that and get Durant!

The biggest hole to me in this series has been Plumlee. His inability to hit a jump shot and his weakness finishing at the rim has been a huge hindrance. Plumlee is regularly getting blocked or muscled by a 6 ft 7 draymond green. As good as Green is defensively that should not happen.

Well, thats the series and season. Overall, i couldnt be happier with this team! They showed everyone who doubted them that they were beyond good.

Everyone except you apparently.

Pretty sure it's a best of 7 series, and we're got 3 more games to play unless we lose one of them,

But go ahead and write them off if makes you happy.

I'm looking forward to the next game, as I'm sure they are.

Sucked into what? This IS one of then most fun, unexpected and surprising seasons I can recall in years. An OT loss to the best team in the NBA and they've let you down?!?

Fair enough - I was unclear, so allow me to clarify.

What I got sucked into was the feel good story about Dame and CJ being the cornerstones of rapid rebuild. Like most posters here, I wanted to believe in them - and I wound up over-rating them. Put them on the Warriors and they would be the 4th and 5th best players. The team needs more - and all the long suffering fans deserve more.

Exactly how do you figure the Blazers owe you more than they've given us so far this season? A team that's not finished being built has been giving the best team in NBA history all it can handle. Quit whining.

Dude wake the fuck up. We have two budding stars, a completely blank slate with rest of the roster, and now playoff lumps to build off of.

Ding ding ding. Winner.

Klay Thompson can be called for about 15 handchecks on Dame every game with how much he's hacking him.

Very true but they don't call those on hardly anyone in the Playoffs.

I have been following this team since its expansion season. Can you say the same?

If not, maybe you don't really have the right to judge me.
