If the Blazers don't win the championship this year, who would you prefer to win it instead?

Actually I'm on GS site, as well as other teams. I just added on this one because Portland hasn't been a team to talk about the past few years.
And how is stating "it's over" disrespectful? If a team was down 10 with 24 seconds to go, would that be disrespectful? There's NO WAY Portland wins 3 in a row (well unless half the Warriors get injured in game 5), and they'd have to win 2 on the road to do it. Portland is in a huge hole and it very unlikely they dig out. So saying "it's over" isn't overstepping.

It doesn't have to do with whether he is wrong or not. It's about winning (or losing) with class. Green just isn't a class player. The way he charges after refs all the time you'd think he is a dis-placed Clipper. INCREDIBLE performance by Curry last night...lack of class by Green. Just the way it is.

If you just look at the stats, the Warriors are notorious for posting up a stouter defense in the 4th quarter on most teams, even if those teams have a lead. They've done this all year. Portland was up by double digits and the D clamped down along with shots finally falling. And once Curry was hot, Portland couldn't stop him. Again, a great game and trust I was nervous especially when Livingston got ousted.

I really don't know about all this calling Green out and making him out to be something else than he is. The guy is a huge competitor. I come from a little different type of background. Ranger in the Military and now an Ironworker. I have been dealing with elite personalities for a very long time. It would be a mistake to think for a second that Green would not respond to a physical confrontation. I also kind of feel it shows weakness to actually think that would be the road to take.
Draymond Green is a very special type of personality. One that should be respected just like Curry. The very best get better when the pressure is on. Like i said. Guys like that would laugh at such a response. I certainly know i would and do any time i get it.

Blazers do need a player with that kind of attitude.

Whether he was talking about the 'punch in the gut' or because Curry is back, either way it's pretty classless. He's making me want LA or LeBron to win and that was not the case earlier.

Ditto

Matter of opinion on Green. Being emotional, he may say some stuff out of line occasionally, but they quote him all the time here on KNBR as well as his own show each week, and he's usually very commending about other teams. He focuses more on the Warriors mistakes and takes blame when they lose or play a bad game.
When they played Houston, a reported tried to bait him on a question about the floods going on during the time. He flat out told the guy to go find someone else to talk to because he knew it was a trap question and that anything he answered would be constrewed as offensive.

That's just swagger...I don't have a problem with Green's attitude...he's got some Dennis Rodman in his personality

Regardless of what happens I'm proud of my guys...the Blazers defied the NBA this year to get to the second round, and give the Warriors trouble...I'm going to root for the Blazers tommorow night regardless of the results...whatever happens we shook up the champs, and played at the highest level...the future is bright

Sports center just praised him for his honesty in calling us done.

I haven't watched ESPN for a few years. It's disheartening hearing about them praising such a comment. Our Blazers are a testament to determination, heart, and loyalty to each other and the fans.

For all non-Blazer fans out there, don't give up on our team just yet. They will come out and fight to the end of the game!

By the way, which ESPN anchor(s) praised Green for his honesty?

I'm sure Can-fucking-Zano will make sure that player is hated as soon as he arrives. Our media is the fucking worst in the nation.

Canzano's BS doesn't seem to have the same influence with players and the organization that it once did.

I'm feeling a very odd and perverse feeling of unbridled optimism after last night.

We witnessed a transcendent performance by Curry late in the game. That fourth quarter and overtime was historically superior to just about any other clutch performance I've ever seen.

The thing about Curry is it doesn't feel like you're being beat by outrageous athleticism (Jordan) or an alien/physical force of nature. (Shaq) He beats you with insanely good shooting, passing and slippery elusiveness. I've never seen such a deadly accurate quick trigger release in my life.

This Blazer team just makes me incredibly proud--there's so much fight in this little dog. I'm not pessimistic at all about their chances of stealing the next game at the Oracle; certainly stranger things have happened in NBA history.
I think we're due for at least one upset performance against them and I believe they haven't given up.

Curry's performance at the end was simply one for the history books and I can't hate on that.

The future feels so bright. This team just needs a few roster improvements and they're truly back to contending.

The one left that hasn't been fired, un-renewed or quit.
Brian Shaw, the blonde lady and the guy who looks like that one guy from Friends. They devoted a full three minute segment on the comments and how they were so passionate and awesome.

I personally think the whole "Is Portland done" question was a trap also. Bad question and he tried to answer as well as he could without putting his own team on the spot.
That question was pure and simple "Bait".

We all hated Laimbeer and i don't know a Blazer fan anywhere that liked Artest.

I really wish we'd had Meyers available; he's got a real (if subtle) mean streak and gets under opponents' skins. If he puts up even 8/4 for us I think we're up 3-1 right now.

Exactly! What a year these guys have had, they are playing the previous champs and team with the record in NBA history nose to nose and very evenly. I could not be more proud of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
