Purely a hypothetical question: which team would you want the Blazers to face in this year's Finals?

It's Dame Time

I've never seen the Blazers in a game 7

My absolute worst all time sports memory. 2000. I drove back and forth, Oakland to LA to Oakland to Portland and went to every game of WCF. Game 7. Only time I had to pay scalpers price for tickets. Drove to LA. I n all my Blazers gear. Up 15 after three quarters.

We know how it ended.

Leaving arena surrounded by Lakers fans.

Blazers. Need to exorcise those demons.

The NBA’s bias is on clear display.

There are definitely two games that need to be played on Sunday, there might be a third depending on the outcome of tonight’s game.

If the NBA was fair, and unbiased, they would schedule the games that we already know need to be played, and the third “possible” game would be scheduled in around the two that are already known.

This would enable the players, and teams to prepare with certainty of what their routine will be.

But the NBA isn’t doing that, both they and the networks are favouring the larger market teams.

The NBA isn’t concerned about procedural fairness, they’re concerned about money.
I understand your point but i just cannot agree with the premise. Fact if the Warriors win (Yes i know they did) then they don't have to schedule a game on the west coast pacific time. They are not going to push a Denver game past 8:30- 10:30 eastern. Not gonna happen. My problem is with playing all of the game 7's on Sunday. But i can understand that also. Seriously the team that plays the Warriors is gonna have to dig deep. No rest at all.

Pretty much always been this way. Don't take care of business quick and pay the consequence. Finish your opponent off early and take a breath.

Actually kind of messed up my weekend. Gonna have to do mothers day for my wife and her mom tomorrow. Then something with my mom later.
Gonna be tight for me also. I got a graduation ceremony to attend at 330. If this game is tight or it goes to OT i'm gonna be late i think?

I have had nerves ever since we came back in the first half of Game 6.
I kind of do to.
Something happened? Not exactly sure what other than Collins?
What i do know is the Blazers seemed to over power them a bit?
Home court has it's advantages but this seemed like a bit more than that. Just a little more nasty to the game than what Denver wanted to deal with maybe?

What's everyone's preference? A 12:30pm game or a 6:30pm game? I think I prefer 6:30pm since we're used to playing at night but being the premiere game on ABC at 12:30pm would be exciting and great for the franchise.
Bright Lights for sure.

Denver put us in a corner and thought we would curl up into a bawl. When we came back out with a snarl, they didnt expect it and I hope it..... no. I KNOW it will carry over into game 7.

Ye of little faith..
I changed my Mothers Day activities to today early last week.
I'm very happy the game is 12:30...i simply cannot stand waiting all day besides I'm down to biting knuckles since the nails are gone!
And...my GF and i were planning on going to the coast mid-week, that's been postponed.

I know exactly what you mean.
The Blazers have figured something out. The offensive flow and defense rotations looked "confident" for lack of a better word.
I think Dame found a path to the hoop and i thimk it has to do with Enes or whomever setting the pick closer to mid court. Thats a good wat to attack the trap.

My weekend is already jacked. During a routine kayake survey yesterday to check on the 3 American Oystercatcher nests I found this week on one of my research routes, I came across one of the breeding adults with fishing line wrapped around its legs, cutting off all circulation. Spent all of last night trying to trap the poor bird to no avail. Heading back out now with a couple of new trap methods. If I can get her today, I'll be fine for game 7. If she eludes me again today, I'll probably have to miss the game. Wish me luck. This bird needs it.

Honestly, it looked to me like G6 was officiated differently than the previous 5 games. Our offense still looked like dog shit - we just happened to hit some tough shots, and Terry FINALLY played Zach instead of Aminu and Hood instead of Harkless. Also, Millsap finally had an off night. I don't think we've figured out anything.

That said, we have Dame and I'm never gonna bet against him. I don't expect to win, but I believe we can win because of him.

We did move the ball much better in Game 6 than Game 5.

The whole point of bringing in guys like Curry was to put shooters around Dame....... and then we play Dame with Aminu and Harkless. It doesn't make sense.
I agree I think it's making Dame's job harder and wearing him out.
