Purely a hypothetical question: which team would you want the Blazers to face in this year's Finals?

Good Morning fellow fanatics!!

I got a good feelin' today.
I see where the Blazers are scheduled to fly back to PDX tonite.
Was wondering if anyone wants to greet them (like we did back in '77)?
They work out of the chartered zone so access is difficult but maybe @SlyPokerDog. or @
@ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsTheHCP. could arrange clearance or something?
Their itinerary has them landing at 6:45pm.
Now they could change and fly directly to SanFrancisco instead.
Anybody interested?
Sorry. Not gonna plan on heading to the airport when i plan on the team heading straight to the bay area. ;)

I didn’t know you’re a birder. Like professional status, that’s awesome. I’m a huge bird-nerd, to the point where my friends make fun of me. Good luck I hope you catch your bird, and the game.
Couldn't catch her.... but we are giving them a break today. They are too keyed in to our appearance now and flush when we get within 200 m. Ugh.

I work on a research project for breeding shorebird populations with 5 main target species: Snowy Plovers, Wilson's Plovers, American Oystercatchers, Black Skimmers, and Least Terns. Got our first Snowy Plover fledgling of the season this week!20190412_140646.jpg

Here is me banding that fledgling as a 3 day old chick.

Ps. Sorry I gave it Denver colors. Just realized that. There is a strict protocol on banding combos... haha

I bet they taste like the veal of chicken.

So you’re east coast then? Or gulf maybe? Very cool, I’ve never been but I see a lot of birds in my bird book that are intriguing over there. I live in the foothills of the Bighorn mountains so I’ve got a lot of plains species and Rocky Mountain species to gander. Plus it’s a great migration area to see passers-through. I share a section of North Piney creek with a family of Dippers, among others, who provide great entertainment and beautiful songs.

A birding thread in OT would be great. I always enjoy sightings, pics and stories and could share some as well.

Yep, Gulf coast in Florida. I'm currently living on St George island inside the state park all by myself. I would love a geeky birder thread in OT. Let's see how long we can keep that going before it gets political....haha

Go Blazers!

this game is absolutely winnable, if that's a word. shut down milsap and things will fall into place. I expect the typical starting lineup, with zach getting in soon hopefully. even if they don't win the season has been an unqualified success imho

Cant wait for the start od the match... great tip off for my time zone - 21:30 local time. I am worried, but in the same time full of hope for Blazers win. Hope somebody will step up tonight with Lillard and CJ, maybe Hood again.. we need strong, very strong defence as well.. Go Blazers!
