Medical boards approved lobotomies too, that's no argument. This isn't really difficult. If a 15 year old goes to a doctor and wants to be sterilized it shouldn't be legal, no matter how many doctors can be found that are willing to perform it. And there's a really weird cult-like fervor behind this. You lefties refuse to acknowledge the victims because you're so desparate for your tribe to be right.

I don't have a tribe.
Laws have allowed far worse than lobotomies. They've allowed actual imprisonment, torture, and murder of humans.
Things change. Nothing you can say will make the law a better judge of medical necessity than trained medical professionals.
Bad things do happen. We'll never prevent all bad things.Good. So just because something is legal doesn't mean it's ok, just as the fact that doctors do something doesn't make it ok.
You can't listen to the victims who are speaking out and honestly say these procedures are "medical necessities". In fact, I don't know how you can make such a statement with a functioning brain. Since when did blocking puberty become a "medical necessity". You deluded by cult-like thinking whether you realize it or not.
If licensed doctors deemed those children needed treatment then I would trust that they need treatment. If there were a movement among conservative christian youth, who felt they needed to take puberty blockers in order to not develop sexual desires, so they could stay celibate for the rest of their lives, and doctors were giving them those medications, would you not see that as a problem?
It's one thing for adults to do as they wish, but it's about age of consent.

Some of these people spend more time thinking about the sexuality of teenagers more than actual teenagers do.Other than puberty blockers don’t work like that, I see no problem with this at all. Your concern with the breeding ability of children is admirable. So few are willing to die on that hill.
Crap. The hate they give

We really need an unlike button. It should still count as positive as a "like" as far as credit to the poster, but it should show that people are opposed to the content rather than as a downvote.
We could even label it something shorter and catchier... Like "barfo"...Maybe we should have a button labeled 'Personal Attack' which one could press when one wants to record negative feelings about a poster, but doesn't want to break the rules.
