<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>From 1985 till 2001, the Nets made the playoffs 5 times, all lost in the first round, 2 sweeps, 2 of those won 1 game, and the other series won 2 games.
2001/2002 season was the first time for the Nets in the NBA that they got over 50 wins in a season. Then the 2 nba finals, and then downhill again after that.
I wouldn't call that tradition when compared to the bigger teams in the league. At this point all you good is a bunch of young players and Jay Z, which is a big name, but as far as I know he doesn't play ball. I don't see how LeBron would choose the Nets over 10 other teams which will be better at the point when he's a FA.
And I know about the ABA days, Drazen Petrovic, and all the other good things about the Nets, so its not like I don't know your teams history.</div>
Well I see the you convinently left out the ABA days. The Celtics have the richest history in the NBA but didn't exactly have the best years since Larry Bird left, including getting beat by the Nets on their home court, and humiliated the next year. Celtics are 0-2 verses the same franchise you're saying isn't "traditional enough."
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You Nets fans are damn good at predicting. Last season you had your team winning it all and the Celtics not even making it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Keep predicting.</div>
You're saying that Net fans are playing prophet, but I said the Nets were going to win 25-30 games this year and had a 30-35 perecnt chance to get LeBron, not exactly good odds. It's ironic that you're playing prophet now by saying that there are 10 other teams that will have a shot at LeBron and will be better than the Nets in 2010. I guess that can now be set in stone.
I have a question for you. Exactly how many Celtic fans predicted in May 2007 that the Celtics would win the 2008 World Championship?
