EXACTLY!!!What's the point of it anymore, if there is nothing showing up?
Totally disregarding the fact that it's an OBVIOUS cash grab by giving people a ton more options if they pay a sub.
Interesting comparison….. do you create the content on HBO Max? Does any of the subscribers?I don't see anything wrong with it being a cash grab. Should people be able to watch HBOMax for free for hours endlessly too?
Twitter has enough problem not sure they will even make it long term or that those type of limits are even in their best interest long term. But I find absolutely nothing wrong with cash grabs - thats the basics of what makes capitalist economies such a great system.
Ah OK well if you trust the richest people on Earth, despite being an avowed Communist I'm not sure what to tell you. Sure, everyone you disagree with are Nazis because the billionaire owned media tells you that. Don't you find it odd that suddenly your ideology is being spewed from the same forces that crushed the left for almost a century, namely the ultra wealthy? I guess not.
How many ads does HBOMax make you watch?I don't see anything wrong with it being a cash grab. Should people be able to watch HBOMax for free for hours endlessly too?

If you tweet “women don’t have dicks” and you are banned that’s two acts of free speech happening in chronological order by two private entities. You are not being censored. Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences.
So, your second "act of free speech" was what exactly?
If consequences of saying on public platform, that "the grass is green" are banning the poster, it is censorship.
Good day guys.
why do you think Twitter is public? Twitter is just a big online hotel lobby. Sure there’s a lot of people around, but it’s in a privately owned building, run by a private citizen, the stockholders are private citizens. Nothing about Twitter or a hotel lobby is “public”. If you walk into a hotel lobby and start ranting about how trans women are men or whatever, you might find some people who agree with you but when the concierge throws you out and bans you from returning for disturbing the guests, you’re not going to get very far with a free speech lawsuit.
So, Elon owns this hotel now. What's the problem with that?
You’re the one crying about censorship. I was telling you it isn’t. And like, it’s no picnic for my kind either; we get banned for using the word “cis” because Elon’s ex is dating a trans woman and he’s the world most divorced man. I’m not happy about it but I’m grown up enough to know it isn’t “censorship”.

If you can not use word "cis", this is exactly what censorship is.
I am from postcomunistic country in Europe and was raised during communism, so maybe I'm traumatised![]()
I’m from a decaying militarized fascist kleptocratic oligarchy that hasn’t had effective governance in 50 years. My people are oppressed into poverty by the state and the corporations that own them. I am transgender and the government will let me become illegal because the minority party is adding proto-genocidal amendments to fiscal bills that must be passed or my country will go bankrupt. So like, I get you might be seeing censorship from the hyper-capitalist oligarchs running international corporations like their fascist treehouse but unfortunately the legal system has given more rights to corporations than people so we can’t fight the legality of this. Banning me for being trans is (unfortunately for me) perfectly legal freedom speech exercised by a billionaire.
Your transphobic statement about women and dicks was also banned, but a smiley from you isn’t going to magically make me happy about both of our situations being framed as the same.
Yes, sorry for the smiley thing, I do it too much. It was more about my trauma from the past, when people were jailed, tortured and killed for things they said against communists. So, I don't feel your situation now and I guess you could change my view about genders, but I know how censorship works, how it started and where it can go.
Dude we have real censorship to worry about. This toy problem of yours isn’t really important when the actual governments of Texas and Florida are doing actual censorship. Your experience with totalitarian nationalism should be enough to know that Elon Musk acting like a baby is petty bullshit in comparison.
It’s small…Sorry, I wasn't talking about if it is big problem or small. I was saying, big or small, this IS censorship. Big tree and small tree are both trees. Good day to you, I am off.
It’s small…
…and also not legally censorship.

Twitter and Facebook and all the other social media platforms make their money off data collection. We ARE the content. That’s why they’re usually free.
Elon is running that business into the ground.

But it would be nice if he paid back all the money they gave him.(no, not at all seriously suggesting he be put out of business by the government)
